@Mum
I don't know...there are some days when I feel like things are falling down around me. I actually had a good cry a couple days ago, which is unusual for me. I have to say, though, that it was much harder when my 3 oldest (who are 17, 16, 13) were littles. Now they can feed and entertain themselves and they help feed and entertain the youngest.
I homeschool them, so they are busy with assignments pretty often. And I also tell them that home school is a privilege and that it takes away from my cooking, cleaning and "down" time. So they are really pretty good about cleaning up after themselves (okay...half the time....lol); they love to help me cook meals; and they all help the youngest out with his education to help me out....
All 4 are in soccer. Two oldest boys are in school (can play for any school when home schooled) and club soccer; All of the older 3 have been in dance for 7 years. Daughter has been in ballet, tap, jazz and is starting on pointe. Sons are just in ballet, but have tried hip hop, jazz, tap. All 3 of the older ones take piano lessons and also one takes guitar and one takes trumpet. All 4 have sign language classes. One is in chess club. One is in a book club.
My long lost cousin tried to get in touch via text last week and got an attitude because I didn't text back right away. I said...."Just because I don't respond in 30 seconds or 30 minutes or all day doesn't mean I'm ignoring you. It means I'm busy." His response, "How are you that busy? You're a stay at home mom??"
LOL.
