What are you doing today? (besides shopping)

They can't pay me enough for a 4 am shop. I wish I was that kind of go getter.

People are awake and out of the house at 4:00 am, I learned something...it would take so much for me to do that, talking money. Stopped by .99 cent store for batteries and saw a gorgeous hanging plant (full sun) in total bloom, had to get it, so at 2.99 great buy. Nurseries have it in now for close to 10 bucks. Looks fabulous.

I woke up at 5 and couldn't get back to sleep. Then I fell into bed at 10 when I was supposed to be doing laundry. It's ruined my day so far. I've accomplished nothing except some mulching and weeding.
Merched in the hinterlands via the wide open spaces. My back hurts, and my feet are practically screaming, "Pedi! Pedi!" However, the open spaces were lovely. Alternately, they provided glimpses of rain, light snow, and a thin shroud of a mist. This nature thing is why I love to work off yonder somewhere... grinning smiley

SEA..your making me drool for the water, and it should sprinkle tomorrow, so a drive up our back roads to the ocean is in order...seeing rain fall on the ocean is so relaxing, my day is made, no work till Saturday. My next wish would be to have George Clooney join me,,,,dream on foolish girl.

Coffee, the shop was a convenience store that had to be done 11pm-6:59am. I took advantage of waking up at 330am.

Today I am going to an open house at the local police station. After that is volunteering at the food bank.

It's a rainy day here and I have no shops planned so I'm going to focus on cleaning the bedrooms and changing sheets. Maybe I'll get around to my "office" a lovely little sunroom upstairs.
I am going to do a few phone shops and then go to a Mother Daughter Friend event at the church tonight
What am I doing today, apparently not enough as I can't get off the forum.....

1. Loved the outdoors, critters, and open spaces.
2. @Irene: Amal, Shmamal If they want you to be a model, you are at least as lovely as Amal.

I did the Open House at the County Police Station. I had such a good time! Three of the officers gave a tour of the station. I got an external tour of a police car.

That sounds real interesting, Honny! Is this something they do for the community as a whole every so often?
Did you meet any hot officers? tongue sticking out smiley

I'm relatively new to the area, so it was my first time hearing about it. I found out about it on the community website NextDoor.

The officer who showed me his car asked all of the probing questions multiple times. He also ran down his single guy resume.

It was very flattering, but I'm not there yet.

My insomnia took me to the BJ's Wholesale website. I found a 55" TV with a built in Amazon Firestick for less than $300. Before it gets delivered, I want to paint an accent wall.

I have 2 shops in Atlantic city..my third trip there this week and since they're quick shops, I'm going to have a little fun and go gamble a bit and have a nice dinner on them, which I haven't done in quite some time.

Work. Extra work. More extra work. Errands. Clean out the car. If ambulatory and/or awake after all that, I will clean the porch and put away clean laundry.

I had a coffee that I and a friend host at her house. We play a game to see if we could see which picture was who mom. and then talked about our mom's.
Thanks for the reminder about moms, Alieda. Mother's Day is Sunday. May everyone and their relationships with their mothers be... as they need them to be, if only in memory or at a distance.

Today I wil be putting out food for the mailperson to collect for the food drive , hope everyone will to the same. Then taking my kid to work. I also will go play Buckko tonight.
I have a free play day (after my tiny shops). I will play... hmm... oh, yes. Photograpy! My shops are conveniently located before and after scenic and photogenic things. This will be good.

I bought more food than will fit in my mailbox, and was afraid to set it on the ground because there's a pretty steady rain. Fortunately, Hubby is volunteering at a food drop off site this afternoon. I will have him take our donation with him when he goes.

Hubby usually takes me to the garden shop to buy my annuals as a Mother's Day present. Today is rainy, and the temperatures aren't supposed to get any higher than the mid-50s. The flowers will wait until tomorrow. Right now I'm being held hostage on the couch by a cat taking a nap on my lap.
