What are you doing today? (besides shopping)

Compiling a boat load of data in order to determine expenses, cost of goods, net sales income from selling stuff on line for 2020 taxes. Figuring this out will lead to a design for designing a better recording format for 2021 items needed to make such calculations.

The fridge that I want to buy is out of stock at my ideal store. I have to go to the end of the web for the set that I want.

Laundry. All day long. I am going to start doing it every day and may assign people. Deep cleaned my bathroom and surface cleaned the rarely used one.
Pick up refills at pharmacy drive-thru; quick Aldi visit; pick up pizza on sale (next door to Aldi); more laundry; KP.

Celebrating that the new stimulus package apparently will make the first $10K of 2020 UI income non-taxable. Folks who had taxes withheld may get a refund due, so wait to file your 2020 taxes until the IRS has updated the forms and instructions for adjustments to income (Form 1040 1).

wales, the Excel add-in Solver is a great tool for this kind of task.

I did 2 Goodwill shops this weekend. The first location, I bought a Japanese bowl set: spoons, sake cups and bowls. I also got a manual citrus juicer. It wasn't until I put everything in the dishwasher that I realized the bowl set was not complete: 2 cups, 3 bowls, 4 spoons.

The location where I went yesterday was crap. Everything seemed cracked, scratched chipped or filthy. Goodwill used to be a fun and decent place to find treasures. No so much now.

Hubby got rid of one shirt. I demoted one pair of socks to rags. Clutter not conquered lol
Work, extra work times 3, clean out car, get a few groceries, and marvel at how quickly clutter mutated while I was elsewhere. "My, things multiply so quickly here!" What. Dorothy could have said that, if this were Oz...

I've noticed the same thing in my area. I will shop the other two thrift stores in my first before heading to Goodwill.

First bike ride of the year. Went to a pocket park to eat lunch, then rode to a grocery store for some produce before heading home. Proud to say I conquered all the inclines, but I might have been able to walk up some of them faster :-)

Decided not to go anywhere today...7 of 11 tasks completed on my To-Do List! #Winning
Today s is my completely free day for this week. I make it free of unreasonable expectations and free for edification. This is enough. If anything else is accomplished, that is okay.

Got vaccinated!

I have been eligible since day 1, but finally got an appointment today because Johnson & Johnson was available. Getting it on Wednesday afternoon. Finally! (I also wanted all of the old people to go first, so win-win.)
Tried to renew my license online but that didn't work, so I mailed it in. Got my haircut, went to Dollar Tree to get greeting cards for the family! Went to Aldi's and did shopping. Fresh salmon for dinner tonight. smiling smiley
I did a shop today and could not find my credit card when I got in my car. I checked every nook and cranny on the passenger side and I did not have any pockets. When I got to my next shop, I looked on the driver side. My card was between the door and the seat.

Whew!

I started out strong, completing two stops (one a shop and one not) before 9:15. Came home and pretty much frittered the rest of the day away.

Extra work that everyone else has shifted to Wednesdays. This is what works for me. There is the possibility of more extra work tomorrow, and there is not too much pressure on tomorrow (especially if supplies arrive late and work ends later than it should). Tomorrow, I will receive my first covid vaccine .Yay. There will be time for everything, simply because we did something today. I had a great plan to finish a project involving numerous little tasks and pieces of @#@^&%. Here is what will probably happen: i will complete three tasks, work out, and go to bed early.

One shop, one errand, and making progress on the phone portions of other shops. Tonight we're going to Culver's for dinner. They're donating a portion of the proceeds to an organization that Hubby belongs to.

I love Fritter Days!

I am adjusting quite nicely to my new schedule. I work 10 hour days M-Th. M-W I do shops after work. Fridays and Saturdays I do enough shops to meet my weekly minimum and run errands. Sunday is a mountain of laundry and making my kitchen pristine (only to destroy it on Monday).

Anyone else build their own computers?...

I built my desktop computer from components in 2011. Now ten years later, one of the hard drives in my RAID 1 setup has failed.

I bought two 2TB hard drives on Amazon to rebuild the RAID only to find out that the seller is sending out old drives from 2012-2013 that are marked "new." Needless to say I returned them for a refund. Be careful buying such items online. Immediately check your items to ensure warranty coverage is valid.

Anyway, after hours of teardown, reconfiguration, reboots, and file transfers, all is working fine again. Instead of trashing a whole computer, only two smashed hard drives (to protect personal info) will be discarded.

Recycle, renew, wear out!
