Stormy sounds good.

I'm no good at naming. Hubby named our previous black cat Darth Vader.
I did name the ferrel cat Sir-Hiss-a-Lot. He's a lot tamer now so that name doesn't apply any more. Hubby calls him squeaky because of his squeaky meows.

Now we have a stray black kitten. Not ferrel, knows how to keep his claws in to play, so friendly. No, chip and no one has claimed him from Facebook post.

I need name suggestions too!

I like Stormy. It’s definitely in the top spot in the running so far. I think of the Kardashian kid is the only thing, and she’s a girl, I don’t mind some people names if they fit. He’s so tiny I can’t get a read on how he can grow into his name. An Ex had an all gray cat that he named Constantine, but for him it was fitting. He was tall, with a big barrel chest, and he had a quiet, regal quality about him.
The kitten has got special markings including back feet that are white to the knee joint and white down his chest and belly. He’s got spunk, charm, cuteness+, and will be one handsome boy for sure.

We had our holiday party today. It was awful. The food was bad. The games were awful. There was no alcohol. I left early.


A lady I sat next to, we were making small talk. I mildly expressed my disappointment at not having alcohol at a holiday party. She looked at me like I kicked her dog and said, "In the middle of the work day?!?"

middle of the work day is the best time of all for day drinking lol....

I miss those boozy work lunches.

Well, Hubby has decided, Since he's started calling Sir-Hiss-a-Lot Squeaky (feral cat) the kitten will be Sneaky.
So, Squeaky and Sneaky it is.

@Minime, how about naming kitten Azure? I wanted to name Sr. furry baby love Azure but was outvoted. He has beautiful blue eyes. Mitten is another favorite name!

Last night was my neighbor's ugly sweater party. Lots of laughs, great food and drinks. DH wore a Chiquita banana sweater. White elephant gift exchange. I wound up with Victoria's Secret boot socks and a Bombshell Rollerball. DH with a NFL throw blanket. The best was having to walk less than 1/16 of a mile back home. Fun! Loved everything.

Worked and froze. Wrapped a few gifts and finished stuffing the stockings. Received the best ever today from Amazon. Rhinestone safety pins, LOL. Can't wait for my PTO holiday Disconnect starting Wednesday!

I had an interesting morning. I missed my train to Philly. I was on the platform, I heard the conductor, and I just zoned out. I'm booked another ride first thing tomorrow morning.

It was a two fer Annual appointments for the oncologist in the morning followed by cardiologist 1.5 hours later. I got my steps in by walking the several blocks between offices.

I'm at my Mom and Dad's for the holidays! Having a great time. My Dad's gift didn't make it in time. While we were opening gifts, I profusely apologized.

Hubby & I are headed up to NC in a couple of hours to finally spend Christmas with son and family! When they came down this past August, their new puppy was only 6 months old, and was able to sit on my DIL's lap the ride down. They have a small Prius, so the hatchback area holds all the stuff they cram in there when they come down, along with the space between the kids' two car seats in the back. Now their puppy is TOO BIG to sit on DIL's lap for 2 1/2 hours! So we're going up their today for a couple of days.

Started the year with my New Year's hike. Phew, weeks of hiding from the cold have taken their toll.

Well, hubby & I went and had our blood drawn this morning for our yearly lab work, in preparation for our yearly Medicare wellness visit next week. Our results will be up in My Chart before our visit, so we can see how bad (or good!) we've been this past year!
