Catching up on local history, as much as possible. Some issues will be forever murky. In the clear part of the world are workout, just a few house tasks, and the ever-present laundry.
Housework, made wareneki (pierogies). Accidently bought whole wheat flour so can't make another batch of wareneki . My back is happy about that.

But now I have to make bread to start using up 10kg of whole wheat flour. I think I'll use the bread machine.

Arrived home early this AM from a week long ladies only cruise. My Mom, all 3 DDs, sister and 2 nieces. A fabulous time was had by all. We met so many nice people. Loved the ports of call. I've had enough of food abundance. PTO tomorrow, yay!
Finished 2 books. One was soooo good. It was well written, yet unable to clarify my lingering questions about the history. Mind you, the author did a fabulous job of letting the reader know that the information provided was the state of the art/rumor/knowledge/supposition and, this is how things are here.
Another day, another few books... today, I started in southern US and landed in UK... with a pit stop in useful non-fiction ...
Yesterday, unpacked, laundry marathon, cleaned and went to the Asian Market. Worked my butt off today. I was missed. I need another day off.
today is a badly needed pedicure
lunch with a friend
then another long drive ahead this afternoon....at least the foliage and flowers are all budded and mostly leafed out...makes for great views.

Life was passing like a hand waving from a train I wanted to be on
Third day in a row of substitute teaching all day!!! Today was a half day but now the teacher needs the full day. Tomorrow is 1/2 day, hopefully doesn't change. Then all day Friday. Much too much for me.

Drier is dead, or at least dormant. Wet laundry is the new decor here.
Can you hang the laundry outside?

No. Lease forbids that. We use smal loads, indoor drying rack, and hangers/rods.
Cold, rainy, windy yukky weather. I cleaned, putted around, did random things that I've put off. Finished the Granny Square Sweater and I must say, DD #3 and everyone loves it Now I need to make 2 more. My sister and nieces want one too. We shall see says Mom and I, LOL. Hope you all are having a great weekend. Tonight, planning on watching/starting "Emily in Paris" on Netflix as my sister and nieces tell me the fashions are wonderful to look at.
Wondering if I should do a small reimbursement shop as I need to go there anyway. So much work and so little reimbursement. My inner self tells me NO, not worth it.
Binge-watching The Equalizer. "Intuition" there is nothing more than agent training (which might involve some generalizations, which might be similar to profiling, which might be bigoted and/or illegal). Should tptb have given supporting characters their contexts and backstories earlier than season 4? Dunno about that...
@Madetoshop, I might do it if I was there anyway, and had time on my hands. There are pay/reimbursement only that I have skipped even if I was in the same parking lot grinning smiley
I really have to feel like it.

I thought we were dropping off our taxes today. But I didn’t realize how early Hubby was leaving and I was still in Jammies with coffee. I’m not taking a second vehicle to town. So, even closer to the last minute grinning smiley And I guess I’m not having my nice mystery shop lunch I was looking forward to. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
But a lovely day at home for me. smiling smiley

I had one phone call to make regarding a missing medical receipt. My cell phone service isn’t working so I tried sending an e-mail. Hopefully that works, we’ll have to drop it off whether we get that or not.

Now, I’m going to do a Classical Stretch Workout, take a walk in the snowy “forest” ,house tasks, and watch Coronation street on the TV instead of my iPad.

Searching for that receipt, has me sorting and getting rid of papers. I’m going to be ruthless with my teaching stuff as I’m sure I’m coming to the end of subbing.

Have a great Monday.

I didn't feel like, LOL. So many pictures, required interactions, restroom visit. I will do the high end reimbursement shops if I'm in the area. LOVE THOSE!

And what did the oldest living nun say? "Teach until you die."

It seems to me that you are a teacher outside classrooms, such as in this forum. ?
We are all teachers.
I will miss the students, but I don't have the patience with the kids any more.

I got rid of most of the stuff I went through yesterday. More to go through.

After 4 days of practicing being retired, I'm off to work today. And I can't get myself moving. Another reason to be done.

The car is going to town. I SHOULD go and get several things done. Including get a new phone.
But I don't wanna grinning smiley And I don't know how to choose a phone.
Too bad I didn't make myself do it when I was in town on Wednesday. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

We'll see what direction my day takes. smiling smiley

Have a great Friday all.

Completed a stressful and hellacious work week. Came home and did not do anything productive, lol. Baby furry love so bad. His lady loves are out and he's mad. He chewed up the heel on my Uggs slippers. Sr. Baby love an angel boy as usual.
Off to my happy place - the mountains to ski.

Church, Grocery Store, Laundry, Dog walk, A Nap, Curl my hair, get ready for the week...
Drove from mountains to the city to the new city....final haul of stuff in storage.
Did not stop except for gas and a Dunkin coffee that was sour (ugh). Was weird and not sure why, to stop at a gas station that I am used to shopping
and just doing the regular gas customer thing.
Lunch when I got here.
check in and rent paid to new place....lively and lovely lavender haired landlord (say that 3 times fast)
gave me the complete tour X 100.
I remember when I used to be uptight and high strung....lol....not anymore unless I have to be but only temporarily.
Everything still blooming....cheers me a bit.

Life was passing like a hand waving from a train I wanted to be on
Back to my other happy place in the AM (home)
