The Killing, Lizzy Borden, Alias Grace, Ozarks, Godless, Stranger Things, Santa Clarita Diet, The Fall, Atypical, and Grace and Frankie as well. I will look into your other shows, except I couldn't get into Breaking Bad at all. I would say that you should watch Mad Men, Girl Boss, and Life Unexpected, next. I just finished Girl Boss last night and was sad knowing their wasn't anymore seasons. Which from your list should I watch next?

Well, actually, do you have Prime? I am hooked on Justified right now. But, if you don't, try Lost in Space and The 100. Both are good escapes. Lost in Space is better done, I think. Sometimes The 100 reminds me that it is a CW series. Other times, I don't notice. Sorry about Breaking Bad. My husband and I were consumed by it one hot summer. We watched all day, went out to grab something to eat in the evening, talking about it the whole time we ate, then rushed home to watch more before we went to bed. It was crazy. We have never been absorbed like that before or since.

mskimmysue- No, I do not have Prime, but have been thinking about getting it. Justified is amazing and had watched it years prior to me getting a Netflix account. How would you compare Prime to Netflix? Do they have original shows as well and is the setup easy to navigate? I will try and give Breaking Bad another shot. I heard great things about it, but seriously didn't make it through the first episode.

I couldn't make it through Breaking Bad either. I thought I was the only one! Everyone else is crazy about it. Maybe I'll have to try again to watch it.

My husband is a big fan of Breaking Bad. I couldn't get past the pilot. I started watching "The Killing" and loving it.

Just started watching a new Netflix called Extinction. Not impressed so far - too many dream sequences but it is only the first episode. Think I will try Longmire since it has gotten so many good reviews here. It is so hot today I just have to find something to binge on.

So I just finished Life Sentence and it is a cross between Grace and Frankie and any TV family sitcom. The drama is ongoing, but they all come together to help each other through it.

Mum and Phoebe70, I just gave Breaking Bad another chance and am already in Season 3. Definitely worth watching. If it helps you at all, the first episode starts out of sequence, meaning the beginning of the episode actually happened much later in the episode. Once you get past that part I think it's easier to grasp the show. I have never understood the drug scene and do not find some of their antics humorous, but the show isn't just about that, it's about a regular family thrown into the chaos of drugs due to being told some bad news health wise. I don't want to say too much. Let me know if you decide to start watching it.

Anyone watched or watching Fear the Walking Dead? Never thought I would be on the Walking Dead fan scene, but the actors really draw you in after the first couple episodes. Since I was so late to the game in watching the Walking Dead, I just recently found out about Fear the Walking Dead and wondered how good it was. I came across an all day marathon before Season 4 started airing and managed to record all previous seasons. Just hoping for some positive feedback before I waste too many hours trying to get into it.

I've watched the Walking Dead and FWD since each started. The WD I still watch as it's kinda interesting. This latest season of FWD I watched but I got tired of the series and stopped earlier this spring after a few episodes. But if you find it interesting, by all means, still watch it.

BTW - The season 6 of Wentworth has started off slow but has picked up midway through the season.

7Star-Good to know about FWD I will watch and see. Season 6 of Wentworth isn't available on Netflix yet, but am anxiously awaiting it. Orange is the New Black's new season was pretty good, but still prefer Wentworth.

I was watching "The killing" when Netflix decided to erase it off! I rented the DVD's from the library. Loved it! I am watching Seven Seconds right now. It's from the same team that made "The Killing". So far, it's good.

Mum that sounds awful! Glad you were able to get them through the library though. Is seven Seconds on Netflix too or did you find it at the library as well.

Christy1879 - I have a few Prime series that will keep me a member of Prime as long as they keep going. I have Alexa, too, so I need Prime, now. Also, we order from Amazon ALL the time, so Prime pays for itself, eventually. But, the cost of membership rose dramatically (to me, at least) and so I will have to think about it next go around. It may be cheaper to switch to the Google thing like Alexa! But, I watch Man in the High Castle, Goliath, The Americans, and have Bosch on my list for next big thing to watch after I finish Anne with an E on Netflix. I do surveys that pay in Amazon gift cards and that is how I pay for my Prime. But, with the rise in price, I will have to do A LOT more surveys, so I am not sure it will be worth my time.

I haven't used Amazon as much as others, but have found it is so easy to find gifts for people and am getting tired of asking friends to order for me so I can get the free shipping. When did the price go up? I thought it was like $100 a year? I do not have Alexa, but enjoy goofing around on my friend's when partaking in a few cocktails. Ohhhh the things she comes up with! I used to do surveys for points that you could redeem for gift cards, but haven't seen the ones for just amazon gift cards or is that just what you always choose. I think the one's I did were Survey Mini and Panel. I too enjoy this thread more than most. I wish I could get paid money to critic and watch shows!

Holy Moly!! I can believe you wrote all those shows down! I’ve watch maybe 3-4 of those shows! My favorite is Call the Midwife.

To Christy1879–Speaking of getting paid...I got $2 in the mail from Neilson Ratings (sp?) with request to fill out form on what I watched that week and after filling it out I got $5 cash in the mail a few weeks later so your dreams could come true.

I've been lucky enough to have this happen a year or two...but it's been a long time

We don't have TV....we have a TV set, but no Hulu, Netflix, Cable, etc.

Haven't had it for nearly 16 years now.

But I do check out movies at the library (usually series) and purchase a few of the favorites. I have purchased almost all seasons of TWD and FTWD....watching Season 8 of TWD right now. I also purchased Season 1 of This is Us. Can't wait for the next one to come out. Love that show!

Jill_L thanks for the tip on the survey. Love Call the Midwife and how things are portrayed back in the day and how far we have come along in the pregnancy/birthing,medicine world. Our library does a pretty good selection of movies to choose from and have used them before to finish series.
