The comment said if Obama and his assistant had a baby, it would look like a monkey. Good thing she is a nut farmer in Hawaii, has something to fall back on.
Muslim brotherhood refers to Obama, remember Trump calling him a Muslim (although he's not) saying he wasn't born in the states, and she loves Trump (her downfall).@JASFLALMT wrote:

Actually what she said was something about Muslim brotherhood and planet of the apes having a baby, nothing about Obama. It was really mean and nasty all the same.
But turns out that the show had a 43% decline in viewers since it aired in March. Makes me wonder if it had been a 43% increase instead if they would have dropped her so quickly?
I've never liked her. I don t think she ever was entertaining.
Actually her first post (tweet) which started it all referred to Obama being Muslin and VJ being Iranian, she removed it quickly...I have been following the whole thing from beginning. I can't quote it word for word, but she was referring to both Obama and his assistant together. Obama didn't respond and they quieted his part, and she did respond in a very classy way.....@JASFLALMT wrote:
Actually, Roseanne was referring to the fact that Valerie Jarrett was born in Iran to African American parents.

I think it's an excuse and a chance for some virtue signalling by ABC. The show was stupid and unfunny. More than enough reason to cancel it. If it was really about something said/written offline, we'd never see another episode of NCIS again (Michael Weatherly is FAR more offensive).

Wouldn't a black granddaughter in the character's family indicate more about the show's characters than about Roseanne-the-person?

JAS, I said Obama was born in Hawaii?????Trump said he was a Muslim, and asked for his birth certificate, read again preferably during the day, (don't put words on my mouth that weren't said), maybe before cocktails. I voted for and know Obama was born in the states, maybe our President didn't know Hawaii was a state.@JASFLALMT wrote:
Irene: Obama was born in Hawaii, not Iran. The first post that was quickly removed said nothing about Obama. I can quote it word for word. It stated the following: "muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby=vj."
You aren't the only person who has been following the whole thing from the beginning.

Now. The folks who cancelled the show and the folks at Ambien should prove that they never made any offensive (intentional or unintentional) remark. Can each and every one of those persons do that?
