No movies. We are binge watching "Ray Donovan", just finishing up season 6 and will start on the latest seasons of "Homeland" and "Shameless" next.

I am a dyed-in-the-wool OLD B&W Classics fan! I like Bette Davis, Kate Hepburn, Cary Grant, Dana Andrews, Gene Tierney, some Bogart, all those old-timers, now long gone. TMC has quite a few good Bette Davis movies up now, and I have them on my watch list. I have a Roku, and there's one channel with TONS of old good classic movies. I recently watched an old Spencer Tracy movie, "Captains Courageous", which I always enjoy! I also enjoy watching Classic TV, such as DIck Van Dyke, Mary Tyler Moore, Bob Newhart, etc.

JAS, I have been trying to watch Ray Donovan since it came out! I can't get into it. I never watch past the 3rd episode of Season 1.

I'm up to date on Shameless. I've watched that since the pilot. I'll give Homeland a try.

Love Shameless, but we like to try to watch an entire season all at once so that we can binge. You will love Homeland, it's very well done. Ray Donavan is pretty good but not great, my husband likes it and it's tolerable so I go along with it. Afterall, he watched Outlander with me, LOL!

I also think you need to get past the 3rd episode of "Ray Donavan" to flesh out the characters and let it get more interesting. It was probably closer to the end of the first season before I started to get into it. But, there is so much great stuff out there...

We watched 1917. I'm generally not a fan of war movies because it just hits too hard to home being an Army brat, grandbrat, etc, but it was so good. We got a DVD, but it came with a code for a free download. I'm pretty sure you can stream it somehow.
I also loved Ray Donovan at the beginning, but it just got to be too much for me. I might revisit it now that I"m in a different place in life.
I know it's an old one and a weird one, but The Endless Summer was one of my favorites. It's from 1966 about 2 surfers that go out looking for the perfect wave. The scenes are amazing, it's more of a documentary, but it was so good.

I'm an AF brat, right there with you. Those movies always hit me hard, since my dad was WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. He managed to live throughout it all.

Wow, that's a lot to go through JAS. My boyfriend is obsessed with history, so he tries to sneak a lot into the playlist that I'm not down with. I'm really into all the animal shows and have been taking the classes from the zoos and aquarium that are being offered now for kids out of school. My favorite is Fiona the hippo <3

I liked "The Hateful 8" on Netfllix. Gory and violent but still interesting. As soon as I finish Seinfeld (2nd time in ten years), I am going to see some more movies and Schitt's Creek.

DH and I watched "A Star is Born" last Saturday night. Cried like a baby. All DDs saw it in the theaters. They watched "IT2" downstairs as only one of them saw it. I managed to catch 1.5 episodes of "The Affair." Not liking it without Allison and Cole.

I have seen 3 different versions of "A Star is Born" and loved them all. I really thought Lady Gaga did a nice job with the last one, boy can she sing! I was surprised at her acting chops too. I read IT and saw the one made in the 80s, also saw the last one too, really good and really scary. Love Stephen King. I know nothing about "The Affair."

I absolutely loved A Star is Born. The soundtrack is wonderful, the movie was great. It made me so happy and sad at the same time. Sometimes love hurts...a lot of times love hurts, but when you see it so beautifully...wow.

Not a movie but an AMC show, Dispatches from Elsewhere. Seems stupid at first but this social experiment turns profound and hopeful. I'm hooked.

You absolutely must start from the beginning.

Btw, how are some series still airing new episodes while others claim that they were not finished filming when the Rona happened?

I read IT when it came out. I still remember being terrified to the point of keeping my lights on when I slept. I haven't seen either movie yet.

I have gone through many movies and shows recently. It's all good (even the bad stuff has something about it). Just now, I am alternating Columbo and 1966-68 Batman. Bwahaha! There are enough episodes to last for a few weeks. After that, who knows? I would like to hike in the open spaces then, but that is not up to me. Hmmph.

I watched The Heat on AMC. Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy. We saw it at the theater years ago, on a shop. Fun tidbit, this watching, a picture of Robert Mueller was recognized. I’m sure I didn’t pick up on that the first go around

"World on Fire" on Masterpiece Theatre on PBS. 3 of 7 episodes have aired, so you will have to find those episodes it on demand. It is a BBC production. Very powerful. The 4th episode airs on Sunday.

Money Heist on Netflix for those who have not seen. I am caught up and finished the final season of Homeland last night. Good Girls is a decent series. Billions should be starting in May for the new season on showtime. Berlin Station on Epix is good. I watched the 5 seasons of Baby Daddy Sitcom on Hulu. I think I will catch up on Better Caul Saul next.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.

"Dispatches from Elsewhere" looks very intriguing!

ETA: Only Episodes 6 and up are OnDemand. I hope it's available on the App.

Amazon Prime- re-watching Downton Abbey, catching up on French movies, Catastrophe first season was excellent, did not are to watch the second one;

Hulu (free with Sprint) via Roku- rewatching MASH (in order), Community and Scrubs

Harry the Bunny. Way too much Harry the Bunny.

Recently finished Better Call Saul and Ozark. Better Call Saul easily has to be THE best TV show out right now. I can't think of any other show that's able to build so much in a prequel without shoving down callbacks from the original Breaking Bad.

Netflix-The Pianist excellent movie, took place during the Holocaust.

Everyone in my family is watching The Ozarks on Netflix. Have not been able to get into it. I binged on The Office during the beginning of the shutdown and have now seen every episode at least twice. I actually rented Bombshell since I had seen The Loudest Voice - enough Roger Ailes for me. Right now I am lost as far as TV and streaming and I love TV - haha.

I was at my brother's house several years ago and got caught up in Poldark on Masterpiece. He gets it through Prime. I don't have it here so I only catch up on it when I go visit his house. I think I left off on season 4? Won't be going back to Houston anytime soon...

This was a great series, thanks for the recommendation! I watched the entire thing.

Have you watched Killing Eve? Another great series.
