I need to check the Roku Channel and see if it has "Haichi: A Dog's Tale" available....I've got a hankering for that. It's a tear-jerker!! Maybe some other of my many free Roku channels have it available.

We all loved, loved, loved Hachi. Five bawling females later inclusive of my Mom.

Virgin River on Netflix is excellent. 2 seasons so far. I can't wait for season 3 to be produced and streamed.

Shopping Southeast Pennsylvania, Delaware above the canal, and South Jersey since 2008
I watched The New Daughter. I did not enjoy it at all. It's gross, creepy and has lousy ending. I'm surprised Kevin Costner did this. Creepy movie. Ewww
I tried to watch Outrageous Fortune for free because I had not seen it in years and years and years. What I got was this Aussie show with the same name. Bwahahaha! There is a movie based upon the show, though, and I intend to find it. Mind you, I do not intend to pirate it (no pun or spoiler intended).

I tried to find Hachi A dog's tale for free but didn't see a way. I have Roku so maybe I can find it.
Heather, we watched Hachi over a year ago. It was on a network that comes with ROKU. I cannot recall which one or if it was ROKU itself.
Got my husband to watch Jumanji with me last night on AMC. The 1995 original with Robin Williams. He had never seen it! He got a kick out of it.
I saw Paterson on Amazon prime. It was rated well but I found it kinda boring. I liked the scenery of Paterson, NJ. smiling smiley
I just watched Intolerable Cruelty on Amazon Prime. very funny... George Clooney and Catherine Zeta Jones.
I just watched The Only Boy Living In New York City with Patricia Nixon, Pierce Brosnan, and Jeff Bridges. I highly recommend this movie!! Great acting, good scenery and fantastic story. You can watch it free on Amazon Prime!

thanks for the post about this! I can watch this tomorrow on Amazon prime!! smiling smiley
Until Forever made me feel anguished. If this movie provided an accurate depiction of events, it depicted the disparate treatment of siblings by parents and others. What a lopsided family! I felt more anguish about the family condition than about the youngster's cancer. Cancer is never good, but sick families are always horrendous and often outlive cancer and other diseases. I would recommend this for people who need a nudge to process their grief or anyone who would like to see a calm discussion of philosophical differences (Mr. Fenton and Michael).

I can't watch anything like that @ moment cuz my mom is dying from lung cancer.

I saw Courage on Amazon prime and it stinks. very boring and predictable. I turned sound off to let it run out. It was just plain stupid to me.
The initial episodes of Virgin River were good. Now it's corny. Will continue watching when there is nothing else interesting on. My girls agree.
I found a work-around to watch Hachi: A Dog's Tale on my Roku with hubby without having to rent it. I went to DailyMotion.com and found the movie for free, in 2 parts (Part 1/Part 2). I then "shared" the site on my phone with an app on my phone called WebCaster, and once there, "cast" it to my Roku that also has the WebCaster app on it, and voila! We sure enjoyed it!!
Happily watching Heavy Duty Lovers. Ya' take that, fatism! !!!!!
