Amazon Prime Days

A few years ago some items I ordered from Amazon were not delivered. This week when I went to get a package from my front door, I happened to look at my bare bushes. I saw a weathered Amazon package in the branches. I brought it inside and opened it. The contents were perfect and new. I let Amazon know that I found the items and they told me to keep them. They will be the donation for my thrift store shop.

I'm watching a new series on Amazon Prime Video called "Them."

Wow...just...wow.

I checked it out. I'm all about books for my ipad. In case anyone doesn't know about BookBub, they offer discounted ebooks and many are free. I signed up years ago and I get a daily email with a list of discounted books with at least 2 free.

Sign up with Bookbub.com
You just provide your email address
I've gotten a lot of free books
Thank you rofl taco!!!! I just signed up. I got some freebies already.

I'm getting free books daily. They are books that I actually want to read! Being a Prime member, I listen to my Kindle books via Audible for free.

I'm so glad I mentioned it. I've been doing it for years and I have read so many free books and have more books stockpiled than I'll ever get around to reading. I like that you can customize the kind of books you are interested in. And I like the daily email with offerings so I can just click on what I want.
rofl taco, Overdrive is another resource to get Kindle books. Use the app and connect it to your library card. You can borrow Kindle and audio books this way.

Prime Day is coming up this month! I think the dates are June 20-21.

Yay! One movie that was on the leaving soon list at Tubi left before I could watch it. They really mean it when they say something is leaving soon. Anyway, Jodie Foster becomes sort of badazz after her fiance dies in a flick called 'The Brave One'. This movie sounds like the absolute opposite of a much-appreciated Graduate assistant in one of my classes who could tell her story and carry on without weaponry, drama, and trauma. What makes the difference in response styles? I will find out if this movie is free during upcoming Prime Days.

Well, I somehow just qualified for a $10 Credit to be used on Prime Day. Apparently, either the baseball cards I just ordered for my grown son for Father's Day, or the Glutamine powder I just got for myself qualifies for their "qualified $10 purchase" in their business category! Either way, I'll be looking for something for $10 on Prime Day for me.....and it'll be free...WOO-HOO!
If you order from a small business on Amazon you get a $10 credit. That's a great move on their part to support small businesses.

My mother passed yesterday so maybe later today I'll get a toaster oven or something. Maybe I'll get drunk like I did yesterday. lol

Heather, I’m sorry to hear of your loss. So very sad. Wishes for blessings of beautiful memories going forward.
Most of my Amazon Prime orders came today! The rest come tomorrow. My Dad gets his Fathers' Day and Birthday gifts on Friday.

The stuff I got today:

LG bluetooth headphones
Countertop cutting board holder (love it!)
Moisture meter
Meat thermometer
Wood blinds

Bluetooth speakers, husband needs them for WFH,. He just got two HP monitors yesterday since the laptops were putting a lot of strain on his eyes, wireless keyboard, mouse.
I got my moisturizer, body wash, clarified butter, and slime activator which was at a really good discount.
Does anyone remember a TV show called "Leverage?" It was about a group of do gooders who helped the less fortunate. A continuation is coming on Prime Video on Friday. I plan on binge watching the entire season.

I used to watch that. Really liked that show. Do you know if they have the same actors?

There is a new Mastermind. The Hacker is there to introduce his sister. The Grifter, Hitter and Theif are the same.

You don't need Prime to watch the new Leverage, it's on IMDB.TV, so just use their website or app.

So far, I've watched the first two episodes and it's not quite as good. However, they are setting up the new characters in these episodes so hopefully it will get better.

Amazing how much the actors have aged in eight years.

It definitely gets better! The middle episodes are more like the classic Leverage.

Who doesn't age after 8 years? It's scarier if they don't.
