Can anyone recommend a good slim digital camera?

Hello fellow Shoppers,
I routinely complete audits which require imaging. I have a good digital camera, but it is kind of bulky and I cannot set the image size to 640x480, which means that I am manually resizing for each image I take on my computer, hence spending much more time for a project once I get home. Can anyone recommend a good digital camera that is slim enough to fit into a pocket and can be set to take images at 640x480 size?
Thanks!

I've had Kodak EasyShares in the past that I was happy with.
I now have a Nikon Coolpix that is very light and thin.
The problem is that technology got slimmer and more pixels at about the same time. You might check on eBay for an older camera. A 640x480 is going to be hard to find, but some of them can be set down to about 1 megapixel size and still meet the size requirements for uploads. The camera I use most often is an old Sony Cyber-shot that is a 4.1 megapixel. It is about the size of a cigarette package of 100mm cigarettes, so can fit in a shirt pocket. I have not needed to resize photos from it in years because I use the "Standard" setting rather than "Fine".
My older Sony camera had a 'VGA' setting that would take 640x480 pics that didn't need resizing.

Recently, I have found it's more convenient to take full size pics with my phone and just batch-resize them. On macs, there's a program called Automator. I've set it so when I drop a folder of pictures on it, it resizes all of them to 640. I know there are similar application that will do this on PCs, but I'm not sure of any names....
I use Pentax Optio You can try doing a search on amazon. The camera is slim and has great images.
For a couple of years I've done shops that required pic with the time/date stamp.
I have never had a problem until recently. About two weeks ago I got an email saying my shop was rejected because the time/date stamp did not come across on the photo. I have worked with every setting, re=read the instruction book reloaded software, nothing worked. I could see the t/d stamp on the picture while I was taking it, could see it in the "properties" of the file, but if I transferred the file it did not show up. What I eventually did was print the pic because on the printing screen there is a radio button to include t/d stamp. Then I scanned the printed pics and uploaded those. I know there must be an easier way. Can someone tell me what I could be doing wrong? I have an older Olympus FE-130. I was using Photo shop to upload the pictures, but I changed to the Olympus Master software as it had the button to include the t/d stamp in the printed photo.

If I were to go buy a new camera, how can I be sure the t/d stamp will upload?
You may want to take large images, anyway. Here's why. Occasionally, I've gotten home after doing audits only to realize I forgot to take a required picture. It did not pose a problem since I was able to crop down a wide angle shot of the display area to show a needed detail shot, then save the cropped image as a new file. If I'd shot all my pictures in 640x480 resolution to begin with, I would not have had any leeway. Keep in mind, too, that there are many batch image resizers that make quick work of resizing your pictures down to the required limits.
i just bought an Argus 5 mega pixel.. and the pics are great... i havent done any shops that require resizing though... it was 25 dollars used... came with batteries, sd card and usb cable..
