Fun survey app to earn gift cards (for some easy side $)

I enjoy mystery shopping when I can but found another way to make some money when I have downtime- an app/website called Crowdtap. You quickly earn points towards store gift cards for taking simple surveys about brands, products and ideas/designs. It's super easy and was pretty cool to see a survey I took a few months ago about a new package design make its way onto a supermarket shelf the other day! Plus now I don't feel so guilty about treating myself to that iced coffee from Starbucks!

Well depends how many questions you answer but I just now got enough points to redeem a $5 gift card for answering a few questions in maybe about 15 minutes while on the bus. The more time/surveys you take, the more points/rewards...

I earned a $5.00 gift card last night after putting in about 30-35 minutes into answering all the survey questions under all those tiles!

I spent about 30 minutes and earned about $3. Definitely easy and worth doing during periods of boredom.

I signed up for this last night got tired and went to bed after earning about 350 points tried to sign back on and it said my account was deactivated .what's the deal with that?

I did 3 $5 gift cards yesterday. I don't know how much time I did. Maybe One and a half hours. I am sorry your referral link didn't work for me, I do not think. It didn't mention anything. Thanks for sharing.

I had a similar experience. But for me, they told me they deactivated me BEFORE I even signed up! I gave them my phone number only and they said I had violated their TOS?? They never told me what I had done. Wasn't worth it to pursue.

I actually had this same issue, and I gave up. I ended up just using another email as a work around. Totally worth it.

So far, I've earned 4 gift certificates for Amazon, and am half-way towards my 5th!! And this is just since the 11th of April, in my spare time!! I think I'll save up as much as I can and put it towards Christmas gifts!!

Just an update: As of May 21st, I've earned TEN (count 'em!) $5 Amazon gift cards for a total of $50 since April 11th! I usually check the app about 3-4x/day, along with the website version that I put on my phone, since there are sometimes surveys on the web version as well. $50!! Free money, basically, for a few minutes time!

Another update: I've just earned my 12th gift card since April 11th!! $60 free money for answering questions, some of which keep coming up over and over again, particularly grocery shopping questions! At this rate, I hope to earn between $200-$250 by mid-November, to put towards Christmas shopping!

Trickery for sure. I don’t know how some of you got lucky but I had the same negative experience as others who posted above. Answered a boatload of stuff, up to 875 points and there were no more surveys. Next time I tried to log in, account was disabled. I'm quite sure OP got zero points for my using the link. How would they know, anyway? Just like all the other survey scams.

@Sestra, so sorry Crowdtap has been a bust for you! It's been good to me. I'm up to $80 now in Amazon gift cards. I sent my DIL a "share this" link, and she joined up and has earned her first $5 gift card. I got an email that I'll be getting 100 points because she got her first 1000 points done.

They will ban you or give you a "time out" if you aren't paying attention when answering questions and select an answer that says "Attention Check- do not select this answer". I've seen those a few times.

Well, so far I'm meeting my goal of earning $30/month in Amazon gift cards with Crowdtap. Since mid-April, I'm now up to $90 in Amazon GCs. WOO-HOO!!

That's awesome, just in time for Prime Day deals! I haven't paid for my Dunkin or Starbucks drinks in months due to the app either! Feel way less guilty treating myself this way a few days a week!
