Market Force Ham shops

Can anyone clarify the instructions for the Market Force ham shops?
I Just checked my CPI and it states a phone call and shop visit - which I expected from the description. What surprised me was the visit dates. They requested the visit on 11-21 or 11-22.

If this is the case why did they ask for a date? I planned a dinner party around my free ham on the date I selected.

I saw that job with 11-21 and 11-22 as the stated dates. Couldn't decide if I wanted a ham bad enough to do what the paperwork would reveal. I hate not being able to review the report forms before accepting a job. Especially for MF, since they tend to underpay/overwork.

I figured they were going to want my first-born in exchange for a $40 ham!!

I never find the blue portal reports difficult. I have a question out to Customer service. I may need to find something else for my dinner party and save the ham for Thanksgiving.

When I made the phone call part, I was told the hams were 7-12 lbs. My CPI instructions call for a 4 lb ham. What happens when you get there and can't purchase the 4 lb ham? Is the shop a bust?

Good question. I just checked the ham website and the quarter ham is 3.5 - 5 lbs. I already have a question in to customer service. I better download my paperwork now and read it carefully. I just glanced at the CPI earlier today.
