Market Force Schedulers-BEFORE 8 am AGAIN

I took the luxury of sleeping past 8 this morning (or at least was planning to, ugh) and my cell phone rang with an unfamiliar local cell number just past 7:30. I buried my face in my pillow and then the landline started ringing too. Same number.

I get up, I call it back since it's a local number, I figure it's got to be some kind of emergency, right? Stays busy for 10-15 minutes.

Finally, I get the person. She says she is an MFI scheduler and wants to know what neighborhood of the suburb I live in (she can tell this from my landline number, it's unique to this particular suburb) and how fast I can get to a breakfast shop, lunch if necessary, TODAY.

I tried to be as gracious as I could, but I had them bonus this one to death just for calling that dang early on a holiday weekend Saturday.

Before someone says, "they're on Eastern Time", this was a local number, so she was in MY time zone. :/ ARRRGGHHHHHH

Just had to get that out.

I've been getting early calls as well. I received a call on Black Friday. The scheduler wanted me to check on a interactive theatre install, make sure it was working, clean it, and take a picture, then go back on Monday and do the same thing. But it wasn't in the theatre, it was in my local mall, the largest mall on the East Coast, and she didn't know where. She would double the rate. I laughed...she could triple the rate and I wasn't going anywhere near the mall on Black Friday. It would take me 30 minutes just to find a parking space, and who knows how long to search the through miles of the mall. Then the scheduler called back with the location, right smack in the center of the mall. No thanks, I told her to find someone who was already going shopping. I guess she did, because the job disappeared.
I've had the same problem - except they like to call me at 5:45am and 6:30am for some reason. Good thing I don't have a job right now otherwise I think I might have gone off on them. And they weren't even urgent jobs that needed to be done that day...

They've been calling at 8:00 am all during the holidays...............when both my DH and kids are off work/out of school. My DH went off on one of them yesterday. She called my home and cell alternating 3x before 8:15.

The whopping offer? $9 for a burger shop, ugh.
