MARKET FORCE FIRED ME BECAUSE I RAN A MS COMPANY 30 YEARS AGO

I am desperate. I just came out of bankruptcy. I"m fighting foreclosure and I needed every job and every penny. I did dozens of shops for Market Force and did them all well. I had an issue with one report that they did not want to pay me for. I told them that I used to run a mystery shopping company 30 years ago and understood that some people try to cheat but I was not one of them.
They fired me mostly because I said they were cheating me but they used the excuse that I had a company 30 years ago.
Be careful. I begged them to reconsider but a snide lowlife named Simone who I told about my awful situation and begged for the jobs told me they thought it best to remove me. Simone has a cold heart.
Be careful about doing jobs for them. The use almost any excuse to not pay you and I believe they use the reports anyway even though they don't pay you for it.
Any company that would fire a person down on their luck and use the excuse of a "conflict of interest" over 30 years ago would stoop to anything. I stand ready to back my statements with copies of emails and facts.

Talk to a supervisor, Call their toll free phone number (1-800-320-1290 Purple Portal), ask for the help desk and find out What supervisor is over Simone or whoever you need to speak to about this matter.

Be sure to point out haw many successful shops you have done. That seems to help with your case with MF but also with most MSC's.

y the way, Market Force is not a bad company overall, There are simply a few bad apples in the bunch, like most any company.

Hope this helps. Let me know how you make out with this matter.

I wish you the best, but don't have high expectations with them. I was
"removed" (as many others were) because I shopped them in Vegas and then dared to shop L.A. There rules have rules's, but there are plenty of other nice MSC
out there, just keep going. Do you want to work with that type of mentality, and remember one company will not save your home.

@ Hard to Find. I have found out that the less personal information you give out the better. Some companies might hold it against you. But I have found Market Force to be one of the best MS companies in the world.
It isn't good to be on Market Force's bad side, because they keep buying other companies out. Eventually, I expect the little guys won't be able to compete, and we'll all be shopping for a handful of conglomerates.
Think tactically next time. Do not miss-lead, but don't run so fast in this gush to tell people to much. smiling smiley There are so very many MSC's out there. One down, umpteen to go smiling smiley

You can do it. smiling smiley

When do you find out that they reject your shop? I have always thought no news is good news with them. Then I hope that all my shops appear on the paid list. Do they send you an email to tell you the shop was rejected?
Yes, they email you to say it was invalid.

I dealt with Simone...she is very snarky. I got removed for a stupid reason, but it's ok. I have ways of getting more jobs winking smiley
If memory serves, they are really quick with editing and approval and will let you know by e-mail if there's a problem. Some of it depends on the mistake. They have something called "variances" and a simple mistake will sometimes be given a pass. They will also let you know this.

Keep in mind, the "pass" they give you still goes on your permanent record. Another good thing to remember when they deactivate you, and they will deactivate you, in their super top-secret, can't tell you more because it's a violation of National Security way, your permanent record will then be forwarded to Homeland Security, the FBI and Interpol.

shopping north west PA and south west ny
That Simone is a WITCH. I went to do a shop at the place that was listed on their directions. They had moved only about 2 miles from there so I completed the shop at the new location. NO PAY. It was their mistake not mine.
Hey Sun&fun - did you read the FAQ's and the guideines that specifically say do not go to any location other than the one listed? You should not have gone to the new location as per the guidelines and FAQ's. Why so down on Simone? She's been nothing but nice to me and my husband.
Hey geauxcj - what exactly did you do to get removed? Do you really think it is one person's decision to remove you? Something you did ended up as the result of you being removed.

Nothing to say?
I am actually someone who has not been finally and irrevocably deactivated, yet. Guess what Michelle, I was deactivated once and it was because of a glitch on their end and I was reinstated. I also received several notices of doing more than the number of allowable shops and had to tell them to check their records. Each time it was an error on them. I aint' saying I've never made a mistake too, just that Market Force makes their share. Bottom line, it's takes very little and sometimes nothing to be removed. There are plenty of threads and many, many long time Market Force shoppers who have been deactivated without cause.

BTW, why so combative with geauxcj? Their post was in the middle of the night and you sound like you think they are dodging you because of not responding within 28 minutes.

So maybe if its personal it would be more appropriate to personally message them instead of putting them on blast in a public forum. Do you work for MF?

I was wondering the same thing since she only registered today and has only posted on this forum and has only responded to two posters who had negative things to say about Simone. The remark to sun&fun makes me wonder how she is so intimately aware of which shop they completed and what the guidelines were. There's no reason to assume guidelines for all jobs are the same.

So sorry I didn't respond in a more timely manner. What is wrong with people these days? How dare they not defend themselves immediately! By the way, it's none of your business what happened. Okay? This wasn't the only rude interaction with her.

Have a fabulous day!

We all have to read it and worry about it when it's posted on open forum. Personal communications are more appropriate through PMs.
I only know one person here and I was upset because it seemed like it was a personal attack on someone who I find is very sweet to speak with when I call MFI with my shopping issues. Anyway, drop it. I have been a shopper for 22 years when they were Shop'n Chek and I've always been happy with them and Simone.
I'm not sure how you could be doing very many shops for them over 22 years unless that was prior to the name change. From what we have seen the automatic deactivation of long time shoppers kicks in somewhere between 1,000 and 1,500 shops.

We would but you're the one who brought it up. You may (or may not) be a long-time shopper - who cares? It doesn't give you the right to be rude on this forum, or to the rest of us. If you have a problem with a member, take it up with them directly via PM. We don't care to be involved in your little high-school drama.

Gosh, what's been going on around here lately?
Doesn't matter. I was removed twice for minor infractions, but they always put me back in because I am a pretty good shopper and I always keep my invoices and my copy of all reports in case I am called for more or additional information on anything. There is an associate htere Idon't care for, but I know she is doing her job so I don't get too mad at her, just take it all in stride.

If they don't pay you and you did your assignment, don,t get mad get even. I even charge them extra for my troubles. Of course they don,t know it but who cares I am ahead of the game.
