mventix shop

I'm about to do a shop for mventix for a big chain client. I have a sizeable list of things I need to make sure are displayed in the store.

How do shoppers successfully remember all these items without bringing in some checklist with them? Please share any tips. thanks!

I haven't done this particular shop, but on shops where I may have 30-40 things to check I am not above a checklist broken up in scraps. One scrap in the left pants pocket, one in the right pants pocket, a couple of pages in the small spiral in my purse that I can 'dig around looking for something' and quickly read. A bathroom check will allow me to change the scraps in my pants pockets as well as get the spiral flipped around for the next round of checking. Trying to organize the lists by departments helps so that you are looking for 5 things in the same department based on one scrap.

I thoroughly dislike this kind of shop because inevitably I start getting cranky because stuff is not where it is supposed to be.
Is this the printer shop? If so, you don't need a checklist. After you speak with a rep and get a recommendation, you need a pen and paper so that you can write all models of the brand ("E"winking smiley, whether they have a price tag and whether they have a sticker. Then, you go up and down the printer aisle writing down which brands have end caps, floor stacks, instant rebates, brand reps, etc. Then, you do the same thing for projectors and scanners. Make sure you get the reps name and a receipt. Ta-dah! You're done! Usually takes about 15 minutes.
mtshopper--it's the big book store. And there is no interaction with a rep. :-) The list of things I have to look for sounds minor after reading about 40 items! More like 15 things I need to make sure are in place.
Aaaah! I've not been offered that particular shop. Sorry I wasn't any help but best of luck with your shop smiling smiley

Report back after you finish the shop. I've been looking at it wondering if I could work it into my schedule.

For the big book store you can bring the paperwork with you along with a letter of introduction in case you are approached. There is nothing difficult about this one.
Why not use your cell phone note app? I'm always using my cell phone in the bookstores and sometimes even a real notepad & pen, because I make lists of all of the books I want to read. I'm never without it when I go there.

yeah--I downloaded the report earlier this morning and saw it was ok to bring it with me. Problem solved.

Barbage--I just finished this shop. Loved it. Very easy. Didn't really have to interact and the report was shorter than what I was expecting. It took me about 10 minutes to fill out the report.
