"Bait & Switch" - Bestmark?? Happen to anyone?

Morning,

I signed up for this shop on 4/22. At the time I signed up it was a 15.00 fee + 15.00 reimbursement. I would NOT have signed up for it because I knew the report was LONG, tedious, redundant yada-yada. But, I love the shop. NO, I do not have anything printed out, nor did I have a confirmation on this WITH the $15.00 Fee. My confirmation email has neither the fee nor reimbursement listed.

Shop was due to be done today - not a problem. Logged into my account last night like the good little shopper girl to review my guidelines, make sure I had all the info...

Now the shop says $7.00 Fee and $15.00 reimbursement.

Um, sorry. But there's no way I'm doing this report & shop for $7.00.

Sent an email out last night around 8pm my time - kept a screenshot of the email in full and confirmation of email submission. I said I needed to hear back from them by 8AM Arizona time so I knew what to do.

What would you do???

Check with the scheduler. Sometimes the bonus just doesn't show up on the your log. If they say no then say sorry not doing the shop.

If it's the shop I think it is, the $15 fee was only for shops completed in March or April. There was some explanation about it being a longer report for just those two months because they were trying something new. Shops starting May 1st go back to the old report and the $15 reimb/$7 fee.

The title of this thread scared me, because I got this random shop confirmation email yesterday for a shop I was doing for them that night. When I went to sign in and confirm, the confirm link was missing! All of the pending ones were! They were back this morning, though. Whew. Freaked me out. I am just so distrustful even though this MSC has never done anything like that to me.

We'll see - I did get an email response back from the Scheduler. She *says* in her email that the $15.00 fee is what it is supposed to be - NOT $7.00.

She wrote: "The shop does pay $15.00 for the shop plus the reimbursement up to $15.00. The template/dispatch sheet you have is wrong & needs changed."

I feel a little bit better that I have it in writing. Will report when I get paid what the amount was!

Glad you got an email back confirming in writing. Save that email for sure.

I just looked at the job description and it explicitly states that only for March and April shops will pay an extra $8 because there is an additional report to be done. It is the one at department stores, correct?

Kate, it doesn't matter anymore she has an e-mail confirming the higher fee

It is also highly probable this is a leftover from that batch of shops since it is only the 2nd of May.

Is this for cosmetics? I have done at the $7 fee andd $15 reimbursement, which together doesn't add up to an item to purchase except possibly a lip gloss.

I save all emails. I print out the report....In case they dodge something..

So r@inyDayZ3, did you get the $15 plus up to $15 reimbursement? Remember, until I read about more, I'm currently getting my feet wet ONLY with BestMark. Thanks in advance,
