I too did birthday bonus shops and have already been paid. Awesome!
Happy birthday fellow Taureans! I just got my bonus email as well. Too bad I don't want any of the current shops on the list. 
Isn't that great....rarely in today's world does anyone's birthday get recognized. Extra birthday bucks is the best!
Yep...I took a shop I would have taken any way. The $2 bonus didn't make much dif, but the fact that their auto bot remembered my birthday made the fact that my cousins forgot a little easier to bare.

My bonuses are already loaded in the CPI on their website....$9.50 vs $7.50. Not sure why I wouldn't get the proper payment.

Jersey, you make a good point. With so many automatic systems, I was surprised I didn't get other birthday messages. How hard is it for a MSC to send out "Happy Birthday, we appreciate all of your efforts!" The cost would be minimal. It is so easy to exceed expectations and make someone feel good for a second, even if it is an auto bot system.

Jersey, you make a good point. With so many automatic systems, I was surprised I didn't get other birthday messages. The birthday bonus always works, that I know of. When you select your shops with a birthday bonus, the CPI immediately shows the extras $2 in the fee as it did for beatlesfan. It's really nice.
I got one of those too but was too slammed to take anything....

There comes a time when meat and potatoes shops are (weigh) too much. Lunch, dinner and late dinners at least 6 different locations. I appreciated the gesture but no thanks this round of shops.

I'm shocked to hear. I figured as long as it got put on the CPI you would be paid what is on the CPI. So far I have never been paid a different amount that what my CPI says .... I would complain if I were paid the wrong amount. Did you not receive the birthday bonus? Was the amount shown on your CPI? I'm confused about how the bonus was not paid. Can you elaborate? I'm a worrier .... I like to see where the problems are in advance ....there's more worrying possible for me that way .... LOL
As much as I generally dislike Marketforce problems with payment are not on my list of reasons. Now I have heard of issues with the Certified side of things and people not receiving bonuses. In 8 years or so of shopping almost every company has made a mistake on my pay at some point and all have eventually been resolved. Considering all the downsides to working with Marketforce, if payment problems are going to be added to the mix it will definitely keep me away.

I did not receive any offer of Birthday Bonus though my birthday is this Saturday. lol CFA even cancelled the shop for Friday. But it does not matter. Each time Market Force offers something special, there is always no job available in my area anyway.
Payment is indeed clockwork with them. That's about the best thing I can say. They have always paid me for every shop I did for them. I agree with Lisa, if payment becomes an issue also, it would be very easy to drop them.

I didn't get my birthday bonus last year. The email I got said I had to email (through the system) the Help Desk with the assignment numbers, which I did. They claimed they never got the email so no bonus. Happy birthday to me!

I also know from a super nice scheduler who had nothing to do with the birthday bonus anytime you contact the help desk it goes in our file towards the ratio scores they keep. Fair..... no. And to those who say it does not matter you will not say that after you get booted out like so many. So the cpi does not guarantee any bonus. Just like it is not fair for them to pull a shop after you print the CPI the morning of the shop, do the shop, come home and then find the shop gone. Oppps sorry the client changed their mind. Again fair no... habit for them yes. And to everyone one of you who says oh never..... just wait your turn!
The part about help desk contacts going into our super secret permanent record does not shock me at all. The way they "keep score" regarding every possible thing and then treat it all as if it is a matter of national security is ludicrous. I still expect the termination e-mail at any time and have been surprised it hasn't happened before now. Last year I had one shop for them and this year has only been a half dozen or less. Working so sporadically may be delaying the inevitable.

I finally received that offer on the day of my birthday. I actually read my email in the evening. So, I looked for a shop in my area and applied. Heavenly Angels! The confirmation stated that it was 2 minutes after midnight, so did not qualify for the bonus of $2. lol They actually waited to give the shop until after midnight to get out of the $2.

Speaking of $2 increases , I got an e-mail from a MSC announcing that there has been an increase to their fee for "no purchase required but feeling guilty, I always do" cosmetic shops". Gas is up by more than two and lipstick by ten.Too little for too much!

I can't believe people are complaining about the $2 birthday bonus. My opinion is, it's better than nothing. At least they acknowledge our birthday.
I agree...nice recognition and since their increases at the ends of months only seem about $2 this is fair for this company. Unfortunately my bday hit at a time of the month when there were few available and ones i never do. Next time I am born I will ask for a date in the beginning of the ms posting cycle.

I signed up for 5 shops when I got my $2 birthday bonus back in March. I was paid correctly. They did not offer the birthday bonus last year. I was pleasantly surprised when they did this year. Love it!
