TrendSource Payment May 5

I did my last two shops for TS/MSI at the end of April. I was assured by Trendsouce that I would be paid on May 5th. I did not file an EIN with them.

I haven't been paid as of today! Their website says that if the 5th falls on a weekend, payment will be processed the next business day. Im anxiously awaiting payment to post (yes, I have already emailed the help desk!).

Has anyone seen a payment pending post? Times a ticking!

Typically if it is processed on a Monday you won't see it in your account or updated on their site until Tuesday...let me check mine...

Mine does not show being paid yet either and I do have an EIN.

Thanks Liz!

Im on the fence on the EIN. Im still researching it and what it would mean for me. I will miss the pizza shops! I teach one night a week and I schedule the pizza shop to coincide with that night for a quick, easy, (free) meal for the kids.
their site clearly states they will pay all completed and verified shops that you accepted before their ein deadline of June 21. Also, another company shops the same pizza client they have. As long as your shops say verified, they will be paid.

Update: all payments for today were posted on their site now.

Trend as well as Confero keep your money as long as you let them one of them I told them I was calling a lawyer to get my pay...
My friend did a lot of pizza shops for them but she was screwed over on a pizza shop. So a lady who is really down on her luck lost $17 on that shop instead of making any money.

There are quite a few people who have had issues with photos for that pizza shop and my understanding is the client is picky and hell to work with.

For the negative comment from jleetw1, I don't know where that's coming from. I've always been paid on time from both and Trendsource pays twice a month. I don't know if maybe he/she thinks they should deposit the money the same day the shop is submitted or possibly the day before.

TS is one company I never have payment problems with...doing a revealed shop tonight, and the high end grocery and not expecting any trouble. They pay quickly.

They are one of the faster paying companies.

As far as picture taking, when you need to take close-up shots of anything(including pizza), change your camera to macro mode, and the photos will come out crystal clear.

@ Tech~ Thank you for the tip. I really need to learn how to use this expensive camera of mine!! lol
I have done several of the pizza shops and never had any photos rejected.

techman01 - I just have a simple point and shoot, but when ever I do close up photos, I click on this little thing that looks like a flower. Is that what you are referring to? or is there something else I should be doing. I have not heard the term "macro mode" before.

Techman dont most MS companies tell you to use Auto mode? Is Macro mode better than Auto mode?

Yes that flower is sometimes used a a symbol for it.

and to answer the other posters question, macro is almost always an option while in "auto" mode.

if you try to take a picture at a distance in macro it will be blurry since it is designed to focus close-up. You can use it to take pics of your receipts close-up, this way you do not have to scan them in or resize them later on.

Also use it for close-up shops while on audits. Works great.

Four years later and I never had a clue what that little flower thingy meant and what macro was for, LOL! I'm going to give it a shotsmiling smiley

I have done a handful of the pizza shops and their pay was always very fast. I was very happy with them up until 2 weeks ago when they also did not reinburse my $15. They said my pictures were too blurry. I was really disappointed and I disagreed but that did not matter. I'm out the $15 and now very hesitant to risk more money.
My understanding is you will not be paid uness you not only have an EIN#, you also now must upload completed W-9 form. I am not getting paid because they cannot read the W-9 form. I emailed (after upload rejected), with the hopes of getting it accepted, am waiting. I read it, but the bottom was cut off, t took pic with camera they asked me to scan, not able too.
I was told I would not get paid, and have another job to do Saturday...very stressful. I went through the hassle of getting the EIN#, and asked if I could fax it in, answer was no. (but I could).

updated, 4 attemps to upload only to be told 4 times support@trendsource.com couldn't read it,( but I could). I finally email it to pcannataro@trendsource.com and she read it fine....what does that tell you, someone is jerking my chain!!

i took a picture of mine, no issue. they only need to see up to where your signature is. Fold over the rest before you take the picture, and take it with your camera in macro mode so its easy to read close up
