was on both the purple portal and the blue portal for Market force.The blue portal I can honestly say paid me for all my work but dropped me for no reason because of the purple portal.

The purple portal of Market force is the biggest (edited for name calling) there is in mystery shop companies. They are months behind on paying you. You work for very little money and when they send you to a assignment and due not list on the instructions that you need to dress business attire then they tell you to leave the store fire you from doing anymore assisgnments and not pay you for the last two months of assisgnments you have done for them which costed you hundreds of dollars in time,gas and money. And will not return your calls of tell you why they let you go or will not pay you for the months of assignments you did for them previousely? How is this legal?

I will agree on the paying you VERY LITTLE money

I never got paid for months worth of work I did for them. They just canceled my account and never paid me for anything previousely I had did for them.

The mbsa said market force was in the right and the months of back pay was at market forces descrection to choose to pay me or not. So beware on doing to much for Market force purple portal because if they decide not fire you for no reason you will not get paid for your previous months of work,

I did a few different price audits for the purple portal and never got paid also i spent my birthday doing baloons for them at walmart and did some other strange tasks for them. I never got a check from them i tried to get with the blue portal but they rejected me right away telling me they could not disclose the reason why they would not let me work with them. I currently do work with a large amount of companys such as second to none, corprate research and trendsource who all pay just fine but market force has never been a good company for me because they seam scammy and theifs.

I have done shops for MFI for over 4 years, and I have never had any problem getting paid. I admit the pay is low in comparison, but I get paid, until now. I was issued a check in June and never received it, I have left several messages but gotten no response. I feel that they will respond and pay me, because they always have.

No, they are not. I've always gotten paid, on time, 30 days later for every job I've done for them. I had one job rejected - but it was due to my error where I used a debit card instead of the required cash only. Clearly my fault.

Now - those who shop for them do so KNOWING their jobs are cheap jobs, little pay.

However, the reports are easy-peasy (at least the ones I've done). If I want lunch, I will sign up for a FF joint, get my lunch, receive a $7.50 payment and reimbursement. No biggie.

If you look at how many posts the original poster has - and that they only signed up to start slamming a MSC - well, let that be your judge.

EVERYONE here knows that Market Force is cheap. Some people have better luck than others. Some people like them. I never had a problem with them. Some people hate them. Okay, no biggie. But really, don't just join a forum with your panties in a bunch to start slamming a company.

The advantage of being an Independent Contractor is it is our *choice* to either work for a company or not. If you don't want to work for that company - simply ask to be removed from their database and "move on". There are plenty of fish in the sea.

I agree with you. I maybe be new here but not new to mystery shopping market force has demonstrated nothing but bad services to me. I have never got a single payment from them at all

I have done mystery shopping with Market Force for several years now and have never had a problem with them paying me. I was on the their purple portal and for reasons they would not even tell me, I was dropped from that portal. Noexplamation whatsoever.

My husband and I were both on the purple portal and we were both let go for no reason and they would not tell us why either. But they were over 60 days late in paying for the shops I performed so when they let me go for no reason they never paid me for any of the work I done before they let me go with no reason.

I worked for both purple and blue and this happened to me as well. I was sick for 1 shop and I let them now I wasn't able to do it because of my health. I had done this job every other week at the same location for over 6 months. They let me go with no notice. After 6 months I contacted the blue portal again. They let me start working right back up. I don't even bother with the purple portal at all anymore. I don't want to. Not worth it.

Have done alot of movie checker for this company.They never pay you ontime and when u call always have a story. Also, the pay is low and waste of time. Anyone know a comapny pay good and pay within two weeks.

I have worked with Marketforce Purple Portal for a year and a half. The dress code for each assignment is clearly posted on the shop instructions. I believe this is a cast of a person not completely reading the shop instructions.

If the grammar on your shop reports is as bad as your comment here, there could be good reason that you didn't get paid.

33 shops with Marketforce blue portal and I have never had an issue.

I have done over 40 shops for MFI blue portal and have been paid for all them.

My only problem was getting my direct deposit setup with them, so my first payment for a month late. After that I was paid like clockwork.

I have had no issues at all with MarketForce. Direct Deposit has always been on time. I only do the portal that conducts the MS, not the merchandising side as that doesn't interest me in the least. I rather enjoy that there's usually an easy shop to grab a snack near the hotel when I'm on the road.

I just signed up with Market Force - can someone please explain the Blue and purple portal. I have no idea what that means.

The blue portal is mystery shopping; the purple portal is demo work or merchandising.

I have done work with both sides, the blue portal is much more professional.

I have done hundreds of shops with the blue portal and never had an issue with payment. I was suspended once because they said my "typed" receipt was a fraud, even though I "reported" there was no receipt provided, and I was submitting a written receipt identifying expenses. I was reinstated and paid for everything.

On the purple portal, I was suspended because an express shipment was left at my house behind a flower pot on my back porch and I didn't see it. Therefore was unable to meet the commitment to do the work, and I was suspended. When I explained the circumstances, I was reinstated, but I found the work was too irregular, underpaid, too much risk with the shipments reaching me in time, and there were issues with being paid.

I would avoid the purple portal, but I would recommend the blue portal. They are the same company, but they are not "run" by the same people or with the same philosophies.

I have only done one job on the Purple Portal. I got paid, but will never do one again....too much work, too little pay.

I have not had any problems on the Blue Portal. I have to say I am very happy with Market Force - Blue. I have even made a few mistakes and they have still paid me.

I have worked for Market Force Blue and Purple site for several years and I have to say they do have low paying jobs however, I have always been paid on time and fortunetly I have never had any problems with either of their web sites or companys.

I did receive my check from marketforce today. I honestly felt like it would come and it did.

I've had no problems with the purple portal and received all my money on time! I weigh the pros and cons of the pay and the time it takes to do the assignment. No thanks! But they will bonus that low pay when it get's down to the wire.

I registered with them, then saw the low pay never did anything with them. I really don't know what the purple portal or blue portal means. Anyone want to explain to me for my information? Thanks bunches, Freebird

I have no problem with MF blue portal for six years. There jobs are easy and interesting because of the variety.

HEY RAINY

I usually agree with you, but not this time.

We all have to STOP accusing and slamming newbies when they first come over here to complain about a company.

It's not fair to assume they're crackpots or malcontents or whatever.

And after you slammed, many other newbies came and posted they had had problems with MF, as well as many newbies coming and saying they had not had problems other than being paid late.

The newbies are likely coming from other forums where they dont have the freedom
to say certain things, Let's be a little kinder until we have a good reason not to be.

Just because somebody complains in their first post is no reason to attack.
