CoRI Commission Increase Emails

I've also seen less shops with fees at a level I will consider, but I attributed it to the fact that I moved during that time.

I think they lost a LOT of regular clients.

It's also possible some clients aren't shopping in January. It does tend to be a slower month.

There are still January blue lights here - but I miss the fabric ones.

Most of my shopping is with CRI. You have to keep watching the site for commission increases, and jumping in to get a shop before someone else does. I love doing gas station audits. They normally begin at $4, then as the month goes on, some increase up past $20. I've done several for more than $30 and have seen one shop about 70 miles from me go for $50.
I've never seen gas station audits with CORI in the two years + I've been shopping!

But I miss the fabric store, framing shops, and curly frozen treats, too!

In fact, there's hardly been any shops at all posted on their site all month for where I live.

I have not received any of their e-mails since January 1st. TBH, I actually forgot about them until I saw the several CORI threads now on the board. I have never performed any shops for them. I think their fees are totally insulting.

Here i am seeing a gas station shop at $0 with a $2 reimbursement. It's been there for a while. I think it might be an error, but maybe they think someone will take it for the coffee. Heck, maybe someone will.
I noticed the rotisserie chicken restaurant named after the big city in Massachusetts isn't coming up on my search of available shops. Is it just me?

I haven't seen any, but I'm not sure we have any of those stores in this state.

I pray it does not occur that the last thing I did before I died was vacuum the house or eat broccoli.
I just noticed today that the home improvement shops I was doing for them last month are now with another MSC...however, the pay isn't much better than what CoRI was paying even with CoRI's 'increased' fees.
That is a sad state of affairs. I regularly got those shops at $20 to $50. My fear was it would go to a MSC that will not be bonusing much.

Wow! $20 to $50!! Im a new shopper so I only shopped this client less than 5 times, but only once did I reach the $20 mark. Sadly, they are listed less than that right now with the other MSC, and since I am a new shopper I am not familiar with how they bonus.
Well I am not seeing the hardware shops anywhere - I can't imagine I am not signed up with the company. Is it an MSC that sends out emails or a check the board type place?

Thanks,

Liz
Like I said, I am a new shopper so I cannot say for certain, but I don't think they send out emails, I just happened to see them listed on their job board when I was checking and recognized one of the adddresses bc its in my area (client name is not listed -- just 'Hardware store' with address).

Well I know one who does that but these are typically competitor shops that I all ready do and they are on the boards now. Guess I will have to wait and see how they shake out.

I figured if the client moved and had been posted one of the veterans would know by now. It also seems a chain that large and spread out would have to go with one of the huge MSCs and that narrows it down quite a bit.

Maybe what I am seeing are 'competitor' shops. I have no way of knowing...newbie here!

It's a competitor shop if in the description it tells you you will be assigned more than one of these in the same area.

Thanks for the info Liz, and YES, it is most definitely a competitor shop. Apologies if I misled anyone...(and apparently, I did after looking at all of my PMs). All I know is I did a a few of these last month for CoRI and as of Feb 1 they were gone, and when I happened to check another MSC (which had NO shops in my area for Jan) there were lots of them in my area for Feb 1 so I deduced the client jumped ship. Again, apologies.....
No worries. There is a great deal of interest in the viability of CORI and the state of this client. I am seeing shops for other clients that some were not seeing as recently as a few days ago.

No problem - I do those competitor shops - a lot of people don't like them but I have them down to a system and won't say I enjoy them but they are steady work. I am thinking one of the veteran's who has some "ins" believes the shops are done for good.

Well, I could not stand the suspense any longer. I called the acct rep at CORI on our beloved hardware stores. She assures me that they have not gone anywhere. She says the report is being revamped to the clients wishes. There will no longer be an observed check out, for example. She did not give me a time frame, but she did "talk me down off the ledge" about the shops returning to the board in the near future... Alrighty, then.
Interesting and that would certainly be a welcome change. Let's hope they don't add five new requirements for the one removed.

Ditto! makes no sense to me.
Oh I HATED the observed cashier. You had to stand so close and appear very suspicious I thought. Glad to see it go, but curious what might replace it.
The observed one was always fairly easy, for me. There was usually magazines nearby, so I just stood there flipping through one as I eavesdropped.

The problem came when it was time for your checkout, and the only cashier available was the one you'd observed! I'd head to the Garden or Lumber area to try to find another one. Once, there was no one at those other locations, so I stopped by the Customer Service Desk to ask a question. While there, I asked if he could just ring up my item for me, and he did. : )
