gapbuster

I have been working for gapbuster for about 8 years now and I have just had enought of their pay and the expectations of what they require you to do. I have now decided to resign because I did a shop for them on Sunday and because there was a communication problem about what watch/timer I had they declined my visit so I lost alot of time and money. Dont work for this site guys, they pay peanuts for a lot of work.

Chedley,

I have actually found GapBuster to be one of the better paying companies that I shop for. Their schedulers are usually polite and quick to offer decent bonuses. I am sorry that you are having a problem with them.

You need to remove the client name from your post.
I've tried signing up with GapBuster twice now, without success. Each time I received a message saying that my profile didn't match their current needs. Anybody else have this issue?

Shopgal,

I recently signed up with GapBuster with no issues. Maybe their system scans before accepting applications and there are a lot of MS in your area.

Had hubby try to sign up, and it accepted him with no problems. The only issue now is the job search function on the website. The only location in the pull-down menu available to select is New York. What's up with that?

Shopgal - it is the end of the month, so likely the only location left with shops is New York. I see the same thing here in Canada - at the end of the month, very few locations show up in the pull down menu. Around the 5th of the month, I see a ton of new shops again in all areas. Once they are taken those locations disappear again until the following month.

Thanks for the tip, DHunt. Appreciate it.

For me Gap Buster has been the best of the companies that I have taken assignments for. Like the other poster, the phone calls are always polite and the bonuses are very good.
Gapbuster is closed on weekends. If you have an issue, it will unresolved until Monday morning when someone begins working. I tried working with them, but literally, there is NO ONE to answer you questions or to deal with problems when they are closed.
When I log into Gapbuster I almost never see any jobs, is there something I am missing?
They don't have a contact number or even email so that you can call or email them. I sign up for GapBuster and my account was terminated the second day without any valid reason. GapBuster is a bad company.

DUHHHHH....................

Im ususally not one to be awake while im sleeping.

Eta.
All joking aside.
Yes it does suck that there isn't any type of emergency contact. But i do understand why, a lot of people think their problem is an emergency when it clearly isn't. Panic does funny things to people.
