Oh shoot. I must be to blame. They offered me extra money last month because a job turned out to be harder than they thought it should have been. I told them it was appreciated, but not necessary. Darn it. I like monkeys too. smiling smiley
I actually have a shop I have to complete for BARE tomorrow. I checked my record and I have always been paid on time,
by check of course, with the exception of one they said was for outside North America. And since I was signed up for DD, it went to my bank. Btw, I am in Canada so that was the reason for the cheques for the other shops. I also had a hero citation in 2010. I have had no problem with BARE. I respect and trust the schedulers and editors. I wish they had more shops in my area.
I like working for BAI. They've always paid on time, give good shopper ratings, and will pay a bonus for travel. Once I had an issue where my check arrived, but only half the check arrived. The USPS had put the portion of the check in a mailer and delivered it to me that way. It took some effort on my part, but I finally made contact with payroll and got a new check issued. However, the time lost was about six weeks. I since signed up for DD. No problems with that either.
Post today- retail department shop...
makes you think it is a department as in a department store. NOPE.
The department on two wheels shop. Hmmm no thanks.
I haven't shopped for Bare in over a year.... not since I didn't receive a payment via Direct Deposit... they opted to issue a check instead, and it was very late arriving.

I work for a living, and late checks don't pay current bills.

I've said it before, and I say it again--just because you signed for direct deposit with Bare does not mean that you will be paid by direct deposit. You will be paid how and when they feel like it. If that pay policy is good for you, then Bare is your company. If you expect Bare to follow the pay policy stated on their site, you would be wrong--that might, or might not happen.

BTW... I was told over a year ago that Bare would post their "real" pay policy, but that hasn't happened either. My sympathies to Moffet8 who thought they were getting paid on time.
I've been paid on time, when Bare said the payment would come, and this month, I got paid sooner! I believe their payment policy is stated "in writing" somewhere, although I can't remember offhand. The first payment after you sign up with them and do a job is paid via check, on the 20th of the month (approximately). After that, if you've signed up for DD, you get paid that way. I got my payment last week for last month. The first month I was with them, I forgot when payment was supposed to arrive, and e-mailed them. Got a very nice e-mail back from the person who handles payment, explaining the process. And it's been exactly as she said so far.

I learn something new every day, but not everyday!
I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.
I've never had a problem with payment from them, or the Direct Deposit process, either.
