The Redundant Ritter's

Just finished a shop with Ritters, and a very long section was NA for me, as I wasn't instructed to perform that scenario. Yet everytime I checked NA, it came up, you must provide an explanation for any NA answers. Also, oddly, you must write in all caps. So over and over again, in all capital letters came, I DID NOT PERFORM THAT SCENARIO.

Also, strange on the descriptions of the employees. First of all I did get names off of name tags, and it was a very small place, 5 or 6 employees, but no, they want AGE, WEIGHT, RACE, hair color, height and OTHER. When I tried to submit, I couldn't, and was taken back to the box because I had not put anything in OTHER. What the heck? I guess this is where you would put glasses, piercings, tattoos, etc? Finally I just put brown eyes, and it was accepted.

Hi,

I did a couple of shops for them when I first started MSing. And yes they prefer all caps and they want a lot of information for very little money. It has been a while, however, I remember their report site doing the same thing. I no longer do any shops for them as there never seems to be any increases in pay. (The reason I am MSing)
Very little money is right. Huge section of questions to be answered Yes, No, NA, explain all No, Na.

That coffee assignment with pages of questions for $5 bucks,....argh...
This was a valet parking shop for $10 plus parking reimbursement. I did it because I had a hair appointment downtown and would have had to pay for parking anyway.
they used to pay good back in the day for job board shops. Most of their jobs never hit the job board and are assigned as permanent routes to shoppers.

= + = + = + = + = + = + = + = + = + = + = +
There are no stupid questions, but there are a lot of inquisitive idiots

I've done two parking lot shops for them, both bonused. Easiest mystery shops I've ever done. Pull in, sit in my truck for 21 minutes (to generate a charge), then leave, taking down the name of the employee at the exit booth.
I like Ritter, the C store shops are a breeze. Five minutes time and input. Sometimes, I even get a bonus, for someone's error. They are really quick for a fill in, on your schedule.

The storage shops are a breeze. About ten questions with
No narrative. I wait till they 15 or more and take them
I have done 2 shops for Ritter this year: 1 parking shop for $20 and 1 storage shop for $19. Easiest $39 I ever made.
I do a florist shop for them. I've never seen a requirement to use caps, never been asked to explain n/a's, and the report is short. I guess their shops are very different between markets...
I noticed the requirement about all caps too late, but they still accepted both my shops written with proper capitalization.

Thanks for this information. I have been shopping for them for 4 years. I have had zero problems with them. The schedulers are awesome to work with, as is the operations manager. He once sent me a thank you note for helping them out on some very out of the way shops. The shops were nicely bonused, but I also appreciated the card.
