About Face- Callfire Alerts

This company has decided on its own to send out text messages that promote its shops, despite the fact that I did not opt-in to this type of communication. My profile is also indicative of this preference. It is arrogant to send messages when they are not wanted, especially when they cost the recipient. Did some nimrod decide that email was not fast enough, since the shops cannot be completed without reading the guidelines? Is anyone else receiving this pointless crap?

Nope. I have actively been performing shops for About Face for over three years and have never received a text message.

OP: Why don't you just call them and ask them not to send you text messages?

I think that at the bottom of the text it says something like "reply "STOP" to unsubscribe". Try that?

yes they call me all the time as well (at least 2x per week, sometimes 2x per day!) and i am on the 'no-call' list. there is a location 30 miles away that they have trouble scheduling so someone is always calling me since it is 'in my area'. they used to text me as well but i replied 'stop' and it worked with the texting, but not the phonecalls. i just keep telling the people to please stop calling and that i will never go to that location lol

funny you bring this up.....I ALWAYS say NO to calls....and since Jan 1st I've started getting "calls"...I don't know for sure which company the one is because they barely speak english so when they start I just click off......

Sounds like the Purple Porthole calling from the Philippians. They are programmed in English, they do not speak English fluently. If you get off the script they have no idea and just repeat the script requirement.

I tell them $5 bonus to go 50 miles is not big money in the USA. $5 (US) in the Philippians is a day’s pay. They do not understand it cost more than $5 to gas up your car to go 50 miles. . The only thing they understand is "hang up."
