CORI don't say I didn't warn you...

What is "awesome" about a tire rotation? You take the tires off, swap fronts and rears, put the tires back on. Try not to destroy the hubcaps in the process. I don't know why any superlatives would apply. Or did they leave a box of Godiva chocolates or a bottle of bourbon on the front seat when they were done?

LOL! I was so hoping someone would ask about this, because I was wondering about it myself.

It was awesome because they didn't have to do it themselves???

Just guessing, because as far as I can see that is the ONLY awesome part of a tire rotation. smiling smiley
Too funny guys. I had an oil change and tire rotation at the dealer a couple of weeks ago and the only thing that came close to awesome was the customer lounge which always makes me feel like a I drive a much more expensive car. It certainly beats heck out of those chain places with the ripped naugahyde chairs, hours old coffee and powdered creamer.

I've never had a problem that could not be resolved by contacting a scheduler and working with them in a cordial and friendly manner.

All of the people I deal with there have been fair, professional and kind.

I'm sorry they're losing their jobs and hope they start their own MS company as I would definitely would work with them.
The same cast of characters in your fiasco as mine. Same do it yourself store too. I stopped trying to get through to them, because they obviously don't listen, and I will no longer shop that client for them.

The only time I ever have had ANY issues, has been when shopping this client. I believe it's the editors. I will not waste my time shopping them any more because I won't risk the chance that my shops will be rejected because of THEIR error.

I hope you have better luck.
Living in Indiana.... and they are closing the Ohio office.... those that are transferred to Indianapolis might find themselves doing shops that aren't completed by regular shoppers in the remote areas.

I also had a conflict last week with one of the people sent you an email, and I got points dinged...

I notified Support online there was a problem... and I replied online via their site with two notifications of the problems.... the job was removed and my score lowered....

Why? I should have contacted the scheduler about the issue.

The last time there was an issue with the same type of shop, the scheduler said I should have contacted the online support.

There is no responsibility with Cori.... it is always the shopper's fault.

The problem was credited to my using a yahoo email address. I guess if you are logged into their site, and your receive email notification that the message was sent.... it still isn't sent via their online site.

How silly.... and I'm supposed to believe that signing into their site via IE and replying on their site via IE, that they don't receive the messages because I use a yahoo email address???

Hello?

No one answered the three online requests. That's the issue, and that is out of the shopper's control.

Shame on Cori for using the lame excuses they do.
I just did my first two or three shops for CoRI this past week, and I don't know if I'll do any more. I didn't submit one of my reports via IE (on 5/25/12) and got it returned just today (yes, it was my fault). IE locked up on me and I had to completely restart it. I've now entered the same information three times. Thanks to this forum, I also saved the text file - I would never have even thought about it otherwise. These people are completely irrational. This no doubt explains why they start their projects at such a pittance and then they need to bonus the heck out of them. I'll just let the CLs have the $3 treat shops and $4 home improvement shops. This is ridiculous.
Lisa: What do you mean you just got it returned today? Was it for clarification? What are they irrational about? I have completed 6 of the hardware stores and 1 furniture store and never had it returned to me. The reports are super simple. I am not sure how you can mess it up.
There isn't any shop I feel is worthwhile to do for that company unless it has some ungodly high bonus. I tried to dip my feet in the water a bit with them again and wound up having my rating docked twice because of some issue with one report and another going in late (I did the shop late evening, along with other shops, so didn't have time to get it in before midnight). There have been times I've tried to work with them on issues with my rating and they will just say "sorry that's just a computer thing, we can't change that." I just like a company that's a little more flexible, that's all.
The only way you get dinged for a late report would be if the shop was unassigned by the computer. Then, depending on the circumstances, they will reinstate your rating. Their shops do not have midnight as the time due. All are posted as being due in 6 to 8 hours. No way will I argue the computer system is downright bad, but I've found them to be flexible and reasonable.

I'm pretty sure that, shop specifications aside, in practice the midnight deadline is built into their computer system no matter what time you completed your shop, though even with midnight as the deadline you don't get the nasty email until around 1:30 a.m., and even the nasty email gives you until either 8 a.m. or 12 noon (can't remember - it's been a while since I got one) before you get dropped from the shop (never tested that.)
The e-mail gives you until noon the following day as does the e-mail you get at noon the following day and the one you get the next evening around midnight or sowinking smiley

They refused to pay me also. The are having problems with their web site and their shoppers are paying the price. They take weeks to review shoppers reports but expect you to resubmit receipts by midnight.
I never had a problem with them so far and use google chrome. Every shop accepted and paid except for the last shop which I should get paid next week.

expect the unexpected
Thats just too much craziness for me. I'm registered with them, but haven't accepted a shop in ages. They are a great first company because all of the training, but move on after that.. lol.

The last straw for me was getting a call at 11pm at night for a fast food shop for $10. I didn't recognize the number so I picked up thinking it might be a doctor or a hospital ( I have an elderly father who lives alone ) . Then, I come to find its my friends at CORI begging me to "help them out ." Uuuggghhh no thanx!
HI there,

I read on here...

"I contacted..."

"I contacted..."

"I contacted..."

The problem I have is... does anyone ever reply? NO.
Lisa, I know you provide VERY VALUABLE information on this forum but your last post about CORI was not correct and I just want to clarify CORI's shop input "deadline". I have been with then since 2004. Even though they say we have 6-8 hours to complete inputting and send a second late notice saying it will cancel by noon, the fact is, shops cancel at midnight the following day scheduled to complete.
I have noticed that they are not paying every week like they used to.

Motivation increases when we assume large responsibilities with a short deadline.
I am not sure what is going on there. I got an email about some gas stations I did. I was scolded for marking a problem with the ID or columns but sending pictures of light posts. I started to laugh when I read the email, I don't take pictures of light posts....none all my locations have correct coloring on theirs. I don't have one light post in my files for this company. It couldn't have been me. I emailed the scheduler back and told her my thoughts that it was a mistake with someone else. I was told to more carefully check my pictures, I get it, but I don't have the pics you say. I am not understanding at all....I have never taken the pictures they are saying I submit.

The only thing I can think of is 1: they are mixing me up with someone else in the group of route shoppers. There are two of us with the same first name, same spelling. 2 pictures are being swapped with other shoppers pictures for the same questions (not likely but who knows) with the wacky things going on there, or 3 since it is the client complaining maybe they are merely responding to email saying but that is a light post and no one is really checking the pictures. I really, really don't know, but I DO know I don't have any of the pictures in my files they are accusing me of sending and not providing a clean report, I even went thru EVERY location pic from each quarter I shopped to verify.

BTW I have never been "shopper error-ed" on these for not sending the right picture or notified for a shop hold pending a different picture. I have only ever been contacted by an editor for these for pictures I upload not making it thru to their side due to server errors.

Things that make you go hmmmmm.
I saw where someone said head over to Findley OH.... I would not try that, all of those folks just lost their jobs. If any of them are still around I am sure they would think.... proof that CORI needs us.

In the past two months I have done over 50 jobs for them, unfortunately clearing out all of their well bonused shops. All they have now are $3 dog shops I will not even consider.

I was laughing at reading Shawn Hume's run around as I have had the same thing. On weekends when their system gets real dodgy and I get unassigned from projects because of their software glitches it impacts my score. I am at a lowly 2.4 even with 50 completed shops in the past 75 days so unless I play the "Mother May I.....Yes you may..." game with their schedulers I can't even add any locations right now and that is fine since all of this consolidation seems to be taking a toll on their website.

Oh no! Today, there was a huge tree in front of the ID sign and it was on private property and I tried my best to get a shot, but the tree is mostly in the picture, so..........if they say that I took a picture of a tree, I'll tell them to look in between the branches..you'll see the led prices, lol. Good thing I have a few of the OTHER side of the ID sign. Phew!

Oh boy.. smiling smiley

I have only completed four shops for CORI, all for the same bank chain. I haven't had any problems at all with them, and they pay faster than any other company I have shopped for. The reports are short and all but one paid over $19 each. The biggest problem is waiting until the fees get high enough to accept. I feel like I'm on a game show trying to beat out the other contestants.
maybe you should follow directions instead of arguing with them send it again quit trying to put your short comings on them YOU must not be on your A game. but it is typical of someone that doesn't follow directions and use the right browser. If you don't like the company drop them and quit yer bitchin. But that's what humans love to do!!!!!!!!!!!
Are you responding to the OP and if so did you read the whole thing? She did follow directions and did use the right browser. There was nothing to indicate any shortcomings on her part.

Who joins the Forum and asks for help finding a shop type with their first post, and then fires a withering salvo of mean-spiritedness with their second post.
Maybe that's what subhumans love to do.
Actually, the withering salvo of mean-spiritedness fired above was the FIRST post from mongo 98902 rather than the second. I guess he wanted to make friends before asking for help. As mongo pointed out above, humans love to @#$%& .... and we're probably all too busy @#$%& to help him......so he's probably SOL as far as getting the help he's asked for in his second post!
Wow. That makes it all the more ridiculous!
I wonder if TRUTHSEEKER/MOBYDICK has gone lower case for a username this time?
