National Shopping Service

One of their schedulers called me 4/23 and offered me a shopping job 35 miles away for 4/25, I agreed to take it for $40.00 as there was a $30.00 bonus on it. The confirmation was sent to my email. A short while ago the same scheduler called me and said, "You do not have to do this job tomorrow as I got someone else to do it." I explained to this girl that I had scheduled 2 other jobs for $14.00 and now I was making a 70 mile round trip and paying tolls for nothing. Her reply was, " Oh well sometimes this happens but just not that often." OmG, mysyery shoppers RUN, bad business, I have never had a company do that to me.

I have done 8 jobs for NSS; 2 this year. I have never had a problem with them. Evidently they got someone to do it for less money. Thanks for the info. This is good to know.
Hmmmm.......I wonder how National Shopping Service would like it if shoppers accept shops and then call back to cancel - because they got a job offer paying more.........
Gap Buster pull that on me last week. 2 really nice bonus in the $100. shops were 30 minutes apart. I don't get mad but will get even with times

If that happened to me I would NEVER give their site or their schedulers a second chance.
Actually I have done about 8 jobs for them and the only problem I had was when I went to the jobs the stoe was closed. I called the scheduler which by the way I found out no longer works for National Shopping Service. They were not going to pay me but decided to refuse to accept anymore jobs from them. The situation I had 2 days ago was with a new scheduler and when I called back to complain I found out she is more than a scheduler so I asked for all of the people I had dealt with 6 months ago and not to my surprise they are no longer with the company. A company is only as good as the schedulers and higher ups, funny none of them work there anymore, people do not quit good companies. I will never accept another job from this company,they pay terrible anyways unless they bonus. Good bye national Shopping Service!!!!

They "quit me" without notice without much of an explanation saying that I was recognized as a shopper. It was one of their Pizza shops. They would not tell me which one, but I figured it oiut when they said that they got a copy of the report. It was the only time I ever gave a negative report. So beware that if you tell the truth and give a negative report, you are going to be banned for shopping for them. Then a scheduler called me and wanted me to sign up with my daughter's name. I said no that was fraud. I have permanently deleted them from my "To Do List" and after what they did to you with cancelling the shops with the bonuses, I'm glad I did.
Thanks so much for that message, I also read a post from a week ago about their checks bouncing, GRRRRRRRRRRReat, more reason to dump them! I did and will continue to alert shoppers about bad companies! Let's face it that was just dirty and to have the scheduler say to me, "Sorry but sometimes it happens!" Wow, talk about treating shoppers like their nothing! Got new for them without there shoppers THEIR nothing!!!
