Helion Any updates

Any updates on this company...good...bad...otherwise? They are listed as a MSPA company. Just reviewed past comments. Curious to know if they have been able to GIT in USA.

Thought I would bump this topic to the top again to see if anyone has any recent experiences about this company. They are an International MS Co, registered with MSPA and have had a lot of postings for a big USA based technology telephone project. A while back, I spent a lot of time to become 100% registered with them - curious to know about recent shopper experiences before I jump in with both feet. Thanks for all responses.
I've had a couple emails recently touting the great phone call shops they were going to get and I should check their site. To date I've seen no jobs posted in my area.
plmccut that is why I am inquiring. I received a notice that the project is to be unveiled next week. The community manger stated that they are looking for certain criteria. She said I should contact her directly if I wanted to work on the project but did not see them listed on the board. Thanks for responding.
Pooch - Are you going to contact the comm mgr? If so, I'd appreciate hearing what she says.
I agree with pamala. Super easy. The longest part of the shop could be the actual phone call depending on how chatty the other person is.

So true. They were determined to make a sale. LOL.
@ Plmccut. I agree easy shops with no narrative. I did six shops too. My Community Manager is trying to get the shop number increased from six to ten. I did not hear back from her about this yet. They unveiled a number of onsite shops in my area today, these were new postings.
Isn't this the same company whose fees change depending on the exchange rate and who passes along all the PayPal fees including those for the currency exchange? If those phone shops don't pay a heck of a lot, you may find yourself owing them moneywinking smiley

The site boasted they now have a couple of ways for payment. I took the plunge. Has anyone been paid since they changed the payment options? Oh well, I will see when I get paid next month.

My concern with Helion was all the questions that needed to be answered in the profile. Did anyone else find it being just to much info that they wanted?
I'm not signed up with them, but generally a lot of questions on the profile will enable them to match you with jobs more efficiently. If they ask you your shoe size, there's a reason for it. If you find a particular question too personal, usually you can skip it. They just won't give you jobs for which there is a criteria related to that question. For instance, if you decline to state your income, and a client wants a shopper with income over a certain amount, you won't be offered those jobs.

@ amibilis a while back, I plugged away at the profile demographics a few sections at a time. I was also apprehensive to send my photo and ID information to an overseas company in case it was a scam. When this current project came up I wanted to apply and finished the application process.

Probably true itsasecret. The shops I have been completing the past week never showed up on my profile...I had to request the shops from my assigned Community Manager. I wrote to her again today requesting additional shops and she assigned me five more; all bonused. I don't think my profile matched me as an advanced technical shopper because these technical shops were never visible to me.
I did the registration, filled it in 100%. When I log in, the map briefly shows up then disappears. The only shops I get are in other states, even if I select say 50 under distance.

Pooch5210 how did you figure out who to contact? I tried to contact them to get assistance since I can't see any of the phone jobs and I dont get a response.

Thanks
markowi13 under the My Community section there is an entry called my Community Manager. When you click it on the profile information and a photo of your Community Manager is listed there. My Community Manager has been very quick to respond when I have sent her emails. Hope that helps.
I've worked for them for a few years now and have never had an issue with them.

They've always been quick to respond when contacted, payment has always been on time.

As for the ID you can hide ID numbers, I did. They state they need the ID to avoid profile fraud, which sounds credible.

Shopping the UK, Denmark and Sweden as well as elsewhere at times.
Pooch5210 Thank you very much.

Looks like the computer phone calls ended on May 30th, explains why I dont see those. I will tinker with the settings to see why it shows me shops in other states.

I have a totally different experience with this same community manager. I've had some long email conversations with her and she always responds quickly. I know she/they had some really busy time with at least one major project ending in December. That might have delayed their responses to shopper inquirys.
