I'm still waiting on payment for a job I did the first week of February. I was told about 3 weeks ago that I was scheduled for payment on May 15...um, note the date today. Nuthin. Will email again tomorrow.
If they mail checks you'll likely have it tomorrow. If DD or Paypal . . . they're late. I haven't done any shops for them yet so I don't know how they pay.

Uh, well if you haven't done any shops for them, how would you know when they're expected to pay? Or are you just being facetious?

My comment was based on Shopperguru stating they told him/her they would pay on the 15th. My point was that if they "paid" on the 15th by check it likely wouldn't arrive until today or tomorrow. If it was "paid" on the 15th by paypal or direct deposit and it wasn't in the account on the 15th, then it is late. What does my not doing shops for them have to do with responding to someone who stated they were to be paid on the 15th and didn't have the money yet?

I have done a lot of shops for them. They do take up to 5 months to pay. I still haven't got paid for my Jan 11 shop.

Having said that, they do ultimately pay. Why they take so long is a mystery to me.

It has to do with your own personal knowledge and experience of the company. My question to you was based solely on what you initially stated which did not reference anyone else's comments. You did not initially state that you were answering someone else's comments. It appears (look at your initial response) that you were answering independently of anyone else's comments.
I have done a number of assignemnts for this outfit. They state payment is made three months after the completed assignment. What you do not know is you have to send them an invoice to get paid. I could not find this invoice on their website. I had to contact the compnay to get an invoice. After I submitted an invoice I still did not get paid until I threatend I would post my grievance on the BBB, MSPC and this forum. Then I got paid. You have to fight to get your money.
My new "litmus" test for all new companies is this: I'll do ONE shop for them, then see what happens downstream. I'm not interested in floating someone else's money...I'm sure they don't wait four months to get paid by THEIR client.
I would not shop for them...period.....tell tale signs of a company either poorly managed or headed for money issues...and I don't want their issues to be MY issues.
Yeah, I think I'm done with them. I knew about the invoices, and I've always submitted them on time. I've worked with lots of ms companies. I've never worked with one that takes so bloody long to pay its shoppers. Thanks for yawl's comments.
Same comment. I did a shop for one of their main clients. It a very detailed shop, but the $75 pay enticed me.
I waited 5 months to be paid. I submitted an invoice after I caught the notes about it after 30 days of waiting. But that still equals 4 months to be paid... I'm wondering if you don't actually bug them if they would ever pay you. If they had a quick easy shop, I would be the guinea pig... until then, run away screaming winking smiley
is this company still the "same"? I'm cleaning out and sounds like this one need to go.
Cirrus says that it takes 4 months to pay shoppers. They also say that they pay shoppers after the 15th of the month. I have waited until the 18th and have had to email them EVERY time after the 15th of the month to get my pay, afterwhich they do pay me. I've asked them why it takes so long to pay and if I need to email them EVERY month to get my pay. No response from them whatsoever. Though they do pay pretty good for their assignments, they have the same apartment locations every single month, so of course, that limits the work you can do for them. I've been with them since the beginning of the year. I won't do another shop for them at all until they change the way they do business.
