Anyone ever been lucky at getting put back into system at Certified Reports?

I worked for them about 2 years and hardly any problems until I decided to work for their blind check department. We had a bad snowstorm coming into our area, I was about 2 hours or more from home and asked that I could leave the theatre before the snowstorm hit and I had to drive up a mountain road, which is a dangerous road in good weather, let alone in bad snowy weather at night!

I was screamed at my one of their dispatchers, She was incredibly rude and was yelling at me for almost 20 minutes non-stop, and insisted I'd be paid NOTHING at all if I didn't finish the entire day. .It was only one movie left.

I did end up finishing the blind check, but the dispatcher who was so nasty to me, immediately deleted me from their system and I've never been able to get back into their system.

I did alot of work for them for two years. It's not my fault we had bad weather that weekend, and I had nowhere to stay for free except my car. They refused to put me up in a motel and I didn't want to put my life at risk driving in a snowstorm. I would think a company out of New York would understand the dangers of driving in a snowstorm....

Not this dispatcher. Could I possibly write them a letter to their president and ask to be put back into their system? I think that dispatcher should be fired myself. Anyone who thinks it's cool to scream at a movie checker because they don't want to risk their lives driving in a snowstorm or, worse, just get paid nothing at all for an entire day should really find a different line of work.

I have been lucky enough to get back on with this company, but it took the project manager to get it done. Make sure you take notes of who you talk to each time you call them with a problem. That way you CYA. Had I not done that, I doubt I would have gotten back on.

It was my first merchandising assignment with the company and I had spent lots of time cleaning up messes the previous workers didn't do. It was a nightmare, but I got through it. I should have called them when I realized the problem, but she took care of it. I had to fax her my report from the store and miraculously she put me back in the system and I had my check in less than 2 weeks. I was amazed, especially after reading the horror stories from everyone.

Good Luck! It's worth a try and perhaps the person on the other end of the phone was having an extra bad day. One would think after two years with a company that one mishap could be dealt with.
You can always ask, it won't hurt to try. I know that after being yelled at by a scheduler, I would have immediately called back and spoken with someone in charge about the behavior of the scheduler.
My question is why would you want to, and I don't consider that lucky. They have a reputation as one of the worst companies out there. I was consistenly treated like crap by them, and then they removed me after their schelduler gave me a date that was never updated. They will not return my emails, so I say good riddance. I don't need to beg to make less than $10 here and there. They obviously don't respect us in any way.

On my first shop ever, I applied for several and then days went by, bam all at once Certified gave me 3 all due the same day and another company gave me 2. I really overloaded myself. But the scheduler for Certified was given my total B-kissing respect for the total of 3 times. Three strikes and then its out right
disrespectful as I am in my mid 50's, and will not bow down to a mouth without reason.
So I got axed for letting her have it back verbally. Who cares, they have ripped off several friends of mine and then cut them out of the system unpaid.
Sure they do have some of the best jobs, and wish now I would have just got a mouth full of water instead.
I wonder if enough shoppers wrote to the CEO of the company if it would help?
I don't think so. They are owned by Market Force which is another loser company. Certified actually sent an email out to everyone doing diabetic strip inventories at Pharmacys that personal hygiene is very important and bathing and deoderant are also important. I could not believe my eyes. If they are hiring people who gross out others that much, they don't care about educated, experienced people working for them. I will miss their quickies that I used to get while passing other shops, but I won't miss the company. I had a similr problem with Market Force. I was "removed" from them also. Funny, but they are the only 2 companies I've ever really had a problen with to the point that I was "removed". Good riddance.
No I never did. I stopped worrying about it, because I am working for too many other good companies. So I figure it is there lost. When one company won't do another company will do.
Why is Market Force a loser company? I've worked with them only since October but I've done lots of different shops & they seem okay. The pay is low, but it's self-assign, their form is easy, although printing, signing and scanning the CPI is a pain, and they pay regularly and somewhat quickly, keeping a good accounting on the website of what they've paid each month and how much. Is there something bad that I haven't run into yet or is it the low pay?
There are several threads for Market Force and Certified in the forum. The last posted date would probably be in February or March. These posts are a good read if you want information about the companies and problems other shoppers have had with them. Some good and some not so good comments which is the name of the game. If you still like them stay with them until you do not like them anymore and if that time never comes then you are lucky.

well, thanks alot! I thought I was the only one having problems with them and I;ve been literally flamed to death on another part of this forum for merely mentioning the really rude problem I had with them.

For a company to put your life in danger, is simply ridiculous.
Yeah, I have thought about contacting their president and letting them know the problem I had..

The Blind dept i found to be really problematic, the other ones.. well, a hassle, but not so disrespectful, though yeah, they sprang assignments on you without warning!

Let;s do that then.. let;s all contact the CEO and let them know some of their dispatchers are PAST rude!

Hey, isn;t that our job anyway? To let a company know their employees may or may NOT be doing things appropriately???

What have we got to lose? I did like their pay scale.. but I know what you mean puddingtang..after awhile taking someone;s bs starts to have an affect on your peace of mind and self esteem.

Now I;m getting flamed to death on another post I wrote on this very forum, is there any movie check companies besides CRI or TES?

Someone come stick up for me there, would ya? Obviously they do not KNOW how bad CRI can be to work for, though I suspect the woman who;s insulting me and flaming me on my OWN thread, may WELL work for CRI..LOL... she;s got the same style of bashing and insulting people as some of the dispatchers for CRI!

Also.. what OTHER companies besides CRI and TES do the movie checks?

TES used to be GREAT to work for, but they have hired some dispatchers in our area who are the pits also!

I like doing the Movie checks, but I do NOT like NOT getting paid.. as I have several times with TES!

So.. be careful if you ever go work for TES.. make sure your dispatcher is on top of things.. or else you might not even get paid at all, even for working for the entire DAY!
ROTFLMAO.

A couple of years ago I had a problem with a manager of a discount store and am not allowed to work in any of their stores. Certified immediately dropped me from their company. Well, yesterday I received a phone call from a Certified scheduler who stated she had gotten my information from Shadow Shopper. I relayed my history to her. She checked my past work and stated that I had done 400 jobs for them with no complaints and she saw no reason why I should not work for them now. Before the day was done I had received 16 assignments from them. My cell phone and my home phone were both ringing at the same time. The assignments ranged from checking DVD planograms in discount stores to changing bra labels in larger stores to making a quick picture in a Rent -______. One scheduler told me that since I had not been working they had had no one in my city. They had had to pay outrageous bonus pay to get the jobs done. Several of these jobs they added bonus pay for me. They seemed genuinely happy to have me back on board.
Good news for you, and how nice to read something positive! Sadly, it's all too rare.
It is worth trying to call Certified and get reinstated. You can only gain by being reinstated. They throw bonuses at me every once in awhile to do some of their shops. They also let a shopper cancel if after reading the instructions and you think that it is to much work for their pay. In my experience, if you cancel, they will sometimes call you and offer you a bonus. I have even gone so far as to call and ask them for a bonus to do a shop that was being offered! ;-0
I have called 4 times and a supervisor name John has hung up on me four times. I was told don't you get the hint the last time.
I've not been deactivated by them, but I have had one hang up on me three times. Quite the professionals are they.
I was burned once when I tried to milk them for some more money. It was a merchandising shop and I wanted $8 bonus since it was quite far from my place. I was told No! You will not be able to get it at that bonus. Then Click. Other than that incident I was pretty blessed with nice schedulers for my other merchandising jobs. They were pretty easy going with bonuses on some things.

Hello everyone, I have not been reinstated; but I have been get calls to do shops for them. When I say that I was removed I was questioned on when because they still have me active and in good standing. Then this morning I have a payment from them; not all they owe me but some, I was happy to see it on my pending this fron the bank.
If you want to deal with a couple of fantastic schedulers at Certified - contact Patty at extension 1684 or Mary at extension 1582. I was deactivated by a supervisor named Joe who had no clue even how their new phone system works (or maybe it's better to say doesn't work since when they moved buildings last summer, they quit accepting calls from pay phones, which means when you're out in the field you have to either call from a store and hope you get right through [yeah, right] or use your cell phone). This caused major headaches for me as I have a prepaid cell and couldn't afford to call. However, both Patty and Mary did all they could to help me - both are absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately, Certified doesn't give schedulers certain projects or shoppers - but if you contact either of them - they will help you. I did over 500 assignments for them. I have come to find, however, that loyalty is not something you will find in any company out there. These two schedulers are different from the rest - if you do your best for them, they'll do their best for you. They are like a breath of fresh air. If you should contact them - tell them Julia from Texas sent you and that she says Hi =)
