How many jobs do you see.. "search" in Market Force.........

How many jobs do you see for 200 miles?

I see 6...

It's been 6 to 8 shops for three days now...

I've either over-shopped everything or they are getting ready to unload the next round.

What do you see when you search 200 miles?

Their search is whacked! Right now I see 13. I KNOW there are more shops than that available. It's been crazy llke this since they updated.
I see over 100 shops. All those fast food shops have not been taken at the lower rate, plus everything else that is available.
It seems every since they changed this system, there are hardly any jobs...

I used to have 30 or more.. now lucky to get 5 ...hrmm...
Using the default search, I see 27 shops, which is low, comparatively. I changed the zip code, to one that is 6 miles from me, and expanded the miles to 200, and now I see 71. Their search is as quirky as ever.

The fee for the fast food lunch period has also dropped $1, not just the fast casual.
I see 40 in my area. All fast food. However, the grocery stores are "no longer available" to me. I did 25 of them in June and July.

MF answered my inquiry regarding these jobs with a form letter saying they could not tell me the reason they are no longer available to me. So, of course I think I must have done something wrong. But what?
Very frustrating. I did try and do a search to see if this topic had been addressed, but nothing came up.
janalou, rarely will MF offer constructive, helpful information to the shopper as to why shops are no longer available. Maybe you over-shopped them, were identified as a shopper, timings were substantially off, you were approaching the $600 threshold and they don't want to send a 1099, or their system flubbed.

Wait a while, maybe three or more months, and inquire again, if you're so inclined.
Instead of taking the time to send them e-mails, utilize that time signing up with new companies. Much less frustrating and much more profitable.

I live 35-40 miles from the Prescott, AZ area. When I search from my zip code they never show up, even if I put 200 miles. If I put in the Prescott zip code, they appear. For me, at least, it has nothing to do with rotation or qualifications.
Thank you so much rez! I put in the zip code other than my own and a bunch of shops came up!smiling smiley
Has anyone else noticed the MF has appeared to decrease the pay scale for most of their shop's? I have been using them for a while. I do not understand why they have decreased the pay rate. Does anyone know why they did this?
Because they can.

MFI has 25 shops within 30 miles of me. They are mostly Revealed Audits and Hardware Stores. When I go to 200 miles there are 200 shops that are pretty much the same varieties plus some FF and Retail MS.
But it is funny that a few of the jobs in towns within about 15 miles of me don’t show if I only look within 30 miles. Go figure.

I don't recall in the last two years that I've shopped MF, that they have decreased the shops they have so far....

With gas going up, it makes little sense...(not that they are worried about our gassmiling smiley)

Who determines the price? The client or MF?
Most likely the client only looks at the total they pay for the results and MF determines how much, I mean how little, they pay their contractors.

I get back 4-500 shops in a 50 mile radius when searched...did you click "All" for the types of shops???
I get back hundreds and it is very frustrating to have to search through so many, most of which, in cityspeak, are not at all easy to get to and not a place I would drive even 2 miles and pay $2 to park at for a $4-6 paycheck...but that is mainly cause in the big city some of their clients practically have an outlet on every corner. I like the fact that I can now select "retail" vs "restaurant" etc. It is helpful when not looking for food shops.

Also, for the next month end range, be sure to change it to the end of the month.

Mid month comes up automatically.

I actually go into September. Do you think that helps?
I just clicked on Sept 30 a few days ago out of curiosity and there were a few shops already listed.
