Can Anyone Tell Me About CoRi

Can anyone tell me what good are the ratings other than allowing one to assign jobs? Can anyone tell me what good are the confirmation numbers? Can anyone tell me what good are the reports that we download? Can anyone tell me what good are the CoRi Reps? Can anyone tell me why they clam up when they know that their own company is in the wrong, not the auditor? Can anyone tell me if they have reached a resolution over a problem? Can anyone tell me why the auditors always get the blame? Can anyone tell me anything good about this company?

So far all my problems with them have been resolved. I always get a 5 on all their ratings and have yet to see a score below 5. I have seen improvements on their website whereas before there were too many script or link problems.

The only thing I know is to allow auditors to self-assign. Should there be more to it than that and if so what?

"Can anyone tell me what good are the confirmation numbers?"
They are proof your report was submitted.

"Can anyone tell me what good are the reports that we download?"
Keeping copies of submitted reports is always recommended regardless of the MSC.

"Can anyone tell me what good are the CoRi Reps?"
What are you asking? The reps can help with problems, make date changes, approve bonuses, etc.

"Can anyone tell me why they clam up when they know that their own company is in the wrong, not the auditor? Can anyone tell me if they have reached a resolution over a problem? Can anyone tell me why the auditors always get the blame?"
Yes I have often reached a resolution and most often it has been in my favor. So no, I certainly do not agree that the auditor is always to blame or that the company will not admit fault.

They pay on time, if shoppers wait for fee increases the resulting pay to work ratio is quite favorable, they are available by phone during business hours Monday through Friday, they allow date changes on most, if not all, assignments, they allow self-assign. That is all I can think of right now, but it is enough for me.

Really ?? I am sitting here with jobs not reviewed from ONE MONTH AGO - have sent repeated emails - all of them being completely ignored.

Can't get thu on the Chat - it disconnects repeatedly (when there are 25 auditors waiting for answers there is no hope of getting help) and the "Leave Message" option is greyed out. I can call the phone number but I am sure they have probably all ducked out early for a long weekend.

Tell me again how they are responsive ???
Since you already know they have ducked out early for the weekend, I guess there is no point in telling you that I just called, got through to a scheduler immediately and was told they will be there until 6 pm eastern time.

Never had a problem with them and always got paid on time. Sometime a report takes a little time to be reviewed like 13 days .

expect the unexpected
The situation as it stands now is that Cori was running pretty smoothly until they recently were bought out and now they are having transition problems. Its unfortunate that they have not been more forthright and honest and owned these problems as there own. Instead suddenly it is me who is having the problems. It is me that suddenly does not know how to upload a receipt. It is me that never sent a receipt instead of they who simply lost it! Truth be known the problem is some of those new employees are not up to speed yet and are making alot of mistakes and as is the American way they are not going to own up to it so the shoppers are getting blamed. What you got to do is call them up and work it through over the phone with them and stay on it and you will get paid. Stay away from the live chat which is sheer nonsense and a primitive means of communication at best. Its a little scary but I think its going to be ok after they get through the growing pains.
They were still there at 6:30 tonight. I had an issue at a fast food dinner shop. R.e.s.o.l.v.e.d.
I have never had a problem with this MSC. At times, it takes a while to submit reports, but their pay is like clockwork. When I have had a problem, it was resolved quickly. One of my favorite MSC's.
I've not started working for them before but just signed up. They charge you to use paypal... Isn't that a little crazy? Non of the other mscs do that. :/ I like to get paid via paypal because it's easier to keep track of when I get paid. But I don't want to have to pay for it. That's like asking an employee to pay for the company's checkbooks...
Since they offer direct deposit as a free option it actually does make sense. Market Force offers check and DD, but since they want their shoppers to use DD they make those payments faster. Second to None also has both DD and PayPal and charges for the PayPal option.

I'm pretty new to shopping, but CoRi has been the main one that I've done so far. Every time I've done a report for them I've gotten a 5 almost immediately after I submit it. There were some issues validating my direct deposit information, so they haven't paid me yet, but I should get paid on the next cycle. Guess we'll see how it goes. So far, they seem pretty easy to please as long as you do a good job and are thorough.
I've only had one issue with CORI and it was resolved with a quick and simple phone call (a call on which I got right through to them). They emailed saying that I submitted photos without a time stamp. Of course, I knew I had time stamps, so I called and explained that they were in the lower left-hand corner. She apologized and I received the infamous email a few minutes later letting me know I received a five.

If you have a problem with this MSC (which it seems you do), try not being so passive aggressive about it. State your problem, vent, get some advice, and move on.
Passive/Agressive?? Oh, please.

The reason I posted is because I have had problems with them.

I'm not new to their system, I've done over 500 shops. I get a 5 every time. But, it is tiresome when I send them my conf # and received report only to find they ignore as if they mean nothing (which, apparently to them they do). So your "proof of report submitted reply" doesn't work so well.

It drives me crazy that they can't admit they have problems, but instead blame the auditor. As I have suspected and confirmed by Freelance Reporter, they do. All I ask is that they be upfront about it. Instead of saying I didn't upload a receipt or pix, just say the system had a glitch - don't place blame on me.

I don't use their online help because it's useless and time consuming. I call or leave emails. Phone calls are never answered. But, I notice when I do leave a phone message, I get a reply via email. soon after, but never a return phone call. AAMOF, the only time I receive a phone call from them is when they want me to do something for them.

Pay on time?? I have had shops performed weeks ago that I'm still waiting for pay. Like someone else said, those are the emails that they don't answer.

So here is what I suggest to them.

1. Don't be accusatory, just lay out the situation and work with the auditor to fix it.
2. If your system is having problems, admit it. Send out an E-mail blast alerting everyone to problems.
3. Honor the confirmation numbers and downloaded reports.

Unfortunately for us in Canada, Paypal is the only option so this doesn't make as much sense for us. We are charged to be paid and Paypal is our only choice. :-(

I totally forgot about that, but the "makes sense" was for them from a business standpoint. It is likely they are able to make DD to U.S. accounts at a much lower rate than PayPal. I'm on your side in thinking that a MSC who only offers one form of payment to shoppers should totally absorb any costs associated.

As Dhunt says, the only thing I dislike about CORI is the PayPal fee they pass along to Canadian shoppers, even though they only offer PayPal as a means of payment for Canadian shoppers. And, I also agree that CORI should eat the cost of PayPal, as it's the only payment method it offers.

As Lisa points out, I agree with all her points. I find CORI is shopper friendly, the reports and assignments are easy, and the pay, when fees increase, is quite good.
