Can anyone tell what company handles 'movie shops'? Specifically Cinemark or Carmike?

No one is going to link a company with the businesses they audit or shop... it's against the rules .... and against the ethics of mystery shopping.

I can understand if it is against a specific agreement that someone made with a company that they shop for... but I am not sure about the ethical part. It seems that the purpose of mystery shopping is to provide constructive, objective feedback to a company. Once you sign up for a company, you find out very quickly which companies they service.

Since I am new to this, it seems that the hardest part of getting started is knowing who does what... which companies to sign up with, etc. It would be very helpful if there was a way to know who did what type of business... and where.

Some companies... Dairy Queen specifically prints the name of their mystery shopping company at the bottom of their customer receipts. It directs all customers to their MSC to "get paid for their feedback".

The company is on the official list.

hutch. Looking at a DQ receipt right now. Invite to an internet survey only. No mention of a MSC...

Shopping Bama and parts of Georgia.

hutch, I have never heard of those movie chains.
Where I live, there is one company that has a movie shop on their job board and it sits there for a long time.
That company is Consumer Connection.

I am trying to make the point that no matter how much information I share, it is specific to my area and not that likely to help you.

When I first joined this great forum, I read and read and read..then I signed up for companies that everyone loved doing shops for and you know what? I found exactly who does what.

Research research.

Please sign up for a few companies and read the Independent Contractor Agreement that you have to indicate that you agree with with. While not every company has a line specifically preventing linking them to their clients around 70% do. I have heard of and shopped for one of those companies, so it does exist, but I am unable to tell you who does it.

My DQ receipts do not contain the link to their mystery shopping company.
