MFI emails

After more than 9 months of not receiving the nightly bulletin despite having my profile configured to receive it daily, a few minutes ago one appeared in my email inbox. How bizarre! :-)

I had read on other forums of people having problems with this, and I just figured I was one of those. Maybe they solved one of their computer issues. Not sure. But, it is a positive.

Hmm... I have never received any but my wife does all the time. Both of our profiles are configured to receive them. We both have gmail. If I start getting them, I will let you know.

I don't receive daily emails, never have, even though my profile is so configured. I do occasionally receive email directly from schedulers.
Apologies for laughing, Susan. Don't recall why they kicked you out, but it's probably a good story.

But of course! Too funny of a response. I remember the thread. :-)

I used to get them nightly for a long time, then they stopped, then they just came back, out of no where, but have been kid of spotty, showing up most nights but not every night, even though they still have two hard to fill locations on the board for this month.

They must've either cancelled a bunch of shops or gone on a calling binge, as it went from 17 open shops to 2 in a matter of hours yesterday. They were not appealing shops that were left, and they were "increased fee" ones, but a laughable amount of increase, so I am not figuring they just all got claimed at once, but maybe someone new signed up and took all they wanted. :-)

Overall my reaction is that their software is glitchy. I run through periods when the only jobs I can see are 60 miles away but I have to ask to see jobs in a 200 mile area in order to see the ones that are only 4 miles away.
I went to a cell phone shop that was in a VERY ethnic area. It was a "mom and pop" type store who were authorized retailers, not a name brand cell service store. Turns out the mailing address for this shop was in one town, but it was literally just past the railroad tracks, and physically in another town. I was in the area and I picked it up for that day. I realized I could not do this shop as a whiter-than-white girl. I would have looked ridiculous there and it made no sense for me to be there. I took a photo from my car with my cell showing the front of the store (which included a few guys hanging outside) so they could see, but they didn't want to hear it. They said I cancel too many shops. 2 weeks prior I picked up 5 pizza phone shops, and then literally within 5 minutes I cancelled them, I don't even remember why anymore. The week prior I had to cancel a shop becuase it was a lunch shop and I got stuck in a traffic jam from an accident and I missed the lunch window time by 30 minutes and I knew it wouldn't be accepted. I took a photo of the traffic again from my cell.
They never wanted to see the photos I took (of course).

Then Certified promptly kicked me out after one infraction, which was their fault. Their rep called me and left me a message giving me a one day extension on a job, but they never changed it in their system. I left them messages and sent emails using the employees name, but they don't want me anymore either. Boo hoo

They were one both two of the first companies that I worked for 10 years ago when I started shopping. It's a shame that they no longer want me to work for them. The whole email about personal hygiene that they had to send out tells me all I really need to know. LOL The only thing I miss is a free lunch while I'm on the road.

I learned while working before my kids were born that when a company buys up a bunch of other companies, they, as my mother would say, get "too big for their britches" and things go south quickly.
yeah they just posted a bunch of walmart bra shops... oigh... definatly not interested...

i dont know ... especially if some one from my church saw me in the tweeny bra section... that would be a bit ackward... might be a time for the pastor to talk to me..

What the heck? My ex hated to try on clothes. We were pretty much the same size so if a pair of slacks was tight through the ass on me they would fit him nicely. It was a little funny the day I went in to try on a pair of swim trunks for him . . .
I regret to say that my DH's clothes fit me better than my own now....I just had a baby 3 months ago so I'm trying to go all street rat crazy about it.
Have to take my daughter with me for a bra fitting tomorrow....36c or smaller! HA, not since 9th grade!

Anyone know if Lane Bryant gets shopped?
Having a baby 3 months ago makes you qualify for the "It doesn't matter" club. It doesn't matter what clothes fit you, it doesn't matter what size they are, and it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks! It doesn't even matter if they are clean! You have until at least 6 months to start wearing clean clothes daily again!

And a bra shop at WalMart? Oh my. No thanks. What does it entail?
Now Susan, you still get to put on clean clothes in the morning--they just won't be clean 5 minutes later smiling smiley I actually kept up with laundry better when my twins were tiny than any other time in my life because they each managed to slime 5-6 changes of clothes per day and who wants to buy a week (or even a half a week) of newborn size stuff for twins? The nightly routine was have hubby sit with the sleeping kids while I trundled off to the laundramat. As the kids got bigger it was pack them into the stroller for an excursion to the landramat on a daily basis.
ouch flash... pretty soon though you will be able to give the kids the quarters and say "here ya go!"

susan... im not really sure what it entails it doesnt really explain it well... it keeps using the word "convert" seems like you repackage the bras and count them... or something... either way... not interested *wink*

Mine have been grown a long time doing their own laundry smiling smiley But it was wonderful to get our first house with a washer and dryer--even though that came when they were old enough they were only sliming one or two changes of clothes per year.

This sounds like a merchandising assignment to me. If it is the place that does theatres, too, it probably is.

Clean? I doubt they've been clean since I moved out of my parents house! LOL....define clean? Im not exactly a domestic goddess...at least as it pertains to house keeping. The kitchen, pantry (and the cellar) are my domain!
My house is very clean! I used to have a cleaning person until my hubby had to take a pay cut. Now I try to keep up with what she did. The hard part for me is papers. I have stuff EVERYWHERE. I am messy, and I hate it. Part of the benefit of a cleaning person was I had to straighten up everything for her to clean. Now it just gets put in a pile and not touched. Ugh.
Paper is my nemesis as well. Yesterday while I was doing other tasks I scanned the month's bills and got them filed (they had already all been set up or payment) and cleared a wastebasket full of mail, flyers, accumulated paper crud. Of course that deal primarily with current crud, not the pile that has been lingering while I try to decide what to do with it . . .
My coffee table is somewhere under that pile of paper stuff that has no other home.
