No offense intended...

But it really amazes me that some shoppers will continue working for this sleaze msc, yes it really amazes me after all the substantiated negative postings both on this site and on the V-GOD site--shoppers will still waste their time with Goodwin !!!

Too bad as they actually have some very decent clients including one of the largest movie theater chains and a NYC based health food burger restaurant.

I totally agree, Arch. No one should touch them until the begin to pay in a ethical way.

Did anyone else get their email looking for "commissioned sales professionals?" I wonder if/when the commission checks arrive?
I received payment for a job I did in Oct, that was their normal 90 day pay time. I did have to write and remind them, but they paid.

If we stick together and boycott these bad msc's, then the result is shops unfilled which force the clients to go elsewhere...hopefully to a better msc.

The clients would also benefit here...
Really think there won't be a crop of newbies doing them...just askin.

Unfortunately, if the newbies want to shop with them it shows they are not researching msc reputations here and the V-GOD site.

It will end up being their needless loss that should have been prevented regardless how desperate they are for work.

I wish some msc clients would research their prospective msc's instead of just awarding their contracts based on low bids only....
I agree totally, but the shop I took service's me as I need a quick lunch and am working in the area. I would not do a large reimbursement, but can wait 90 days for 20.00, since I'd be spending my own $ anyway. I think we as shoppers have to access that, does it suit us, and just know what the situation is, then it becomes personal weather or we want to do it. Boycotts serve their purpose but hard to implement. I for one would never tell anyone not to take a job, we are Independent Contractor's and therefore know what works or doesn't. Your right is not to work for them.

Well, color me shocked. Goodwin seems to have acquired several new clients in my area, or at least, ones which are appearing to me for the first time.

I'd love to be happy about this, but I can't be. Unless given reason to feel otherwise, to me, it just means that more shoppers will be out money for extended periods of time. I haven't examined the reimbursement, but I'm guessing that like the other shops in my area, "payment" won't cover the ordering requirements in these, either.

Amazingly, within minutes of my receiving a Goodwin email,and I log on, the shops have already been taken.
On line they state that they pay every 60 - 90 days. I anticipate a payment around March for a considerable amount of money. If I donot recieve this payment by April then they will recieve many phone calls. I have the Magic Jack and I'm not worried about the number or length of calls (long distance or otherwise.) I'll just keep calling them 10 - 20 times a day. Fill up their voicemail box eventualy they'll tire of me and answer. It worked with Frontline Focus (I recieved a $150.00 payment.)
I just received a payment this morning for shops done in October and November. One of the amounts was wrong and I also haven't been paid for one remaining shop that was on 10/02. I sent an email and hopefully will have it resolved soon - then I can close out my 2010 records! I haven't done a shop for them since November but now that I have been paid (sort of) I may re-consider them for the future if something comes up that is convenient.
They have so many shops in my area. I wish they would pay their bills. If I did not read this forum, I would have accepted some.
Ditto, when I read here that Goodwin consistently pays correctly and in a reasonable time, I will try a few of their shops. For now, no thank you.

Same here, but I'll add another requirement to the list. COVER THE COST OF THE REQUIRED PURCHASES 100%!!!
I emailed about the missing $ yesterday and was paid today, with an apology. So they are all caught up with me. I am still going to be cautious though!

Agree with ShopUntilYouDrop ... Doubtful that there is such a thing as a schedule.
They pay the end of the month (27th), which month is your guess. I was paid in 95 days.

Ahh, that's what I was thinking. It's only been 65 days, so I guess I have more time to wait.
