OMG!!! Did Cori/Steri lose ANOTHER client?

It is indeed a sad day. I think the new co bid too low to get both of the new accounts, and time will prove them wrong. They are not as easy to deal with, they would rather call on the phone than email and it wastes both of our time. Their idea of an incentive is simply not realistic. I will not work below minimum wage. Our time is valuable whether you realize that yet. It will be interesting to see how things stack up in a month or two. Shame it has to be that way. Everyone suffers.

I am in that store every week sometime twice a week, so for me it's not even really work unless the report is a dog. The fee is not bad IMO and it's good for a a route base to me. I have never seen this company go over $30.00 and that was rare, so for those that think that it's not worth it don't do it. I love the company and I love the store so it's win win for me :-)

I figured CORI/Steri was on the way out when I saw mystery shops for the same big DIY chain on an orange-logo'd mobile app with a $2 fee. I wouldn't even make a phone call for $2.00, and yet the jobs got taken.

I'd say the shoppers who took them got taken!
I keep getting emails to do $1 phone shops for the new company. 3-5 minute call and 3-5 minute report, the email says. I thought it was a typo but no.

I would make a phone call for $2.00 depending on what it entailed. $2.00 is better than no dollars IMO.

I agree that the shops started at $4.00. But, I haven't heard of anyone jumping in and assigning themselves at that rate. smiling smiley I always play the game of chance and wait for the company to increase the commissions and not be shut out by another area shopper. I've taken most at $15 and higher, some at $30 and a few distance ones toward the end of the cycle at $50. After seeing who the new MSG is, my days of higher price shopping at those locations have come to an end. The new company has too many things to do for the price paid.
Haven't there been threads just recently, complaining that idiots are grabbing the shops at $5.00?
On a positive note, I will say that I'm glad that the company has not just stopped using mystery shoppers all together. I have 9 of these stores within 20 miles of my house and they have been a good source of income for me. I'm glad I'm not losing the money altogether! $12 isn't great, but we will see how it goes-maybe bonuses at the end? One can hope...
I just logged in and all I see are the red and blue gas shops. No DIY hardware ones to be found. I know we can't tell who they went to but can we get hints? We are remodeling our 40 year old townhouse so, we kept a running log of needed supplies so that we could pick them up once they got above the dreaded $4 mark.
I often had shops picked up at $4.00 in my area.

Is just asking a violation? I think it's only a violation if someone reveals the answer. winking smiley Asking is just naivete at best, rude at worst, possibly annoying if the question has been asked & addressed already and the newest asker didn't bother to read that... but not in of itself a violation.

I did not see the post before it was edited. Did the poster just ask a question, or did his post say the name of a MSC? I would say just asking "who shops Xxxx?" is not a violation, although it encourages others to violate. If a company name was included in the question, it would be a violation. I have seen some requests that say "does xxxx still shop xxx?" or "who shops xxxx now that xxx lost them?"

Either way, I would rather see the issue of not disclosing the clients of MSCs addressed by the moderator by editing the post than to have multiple posters address the issue. Good job, moderator!
I did a campus bookstore for one of the larger MSC's... this was an emergency, out of town job, had to be done that day. I rushed and did it,,,worked on the report til 1:30 AM and submitted. All seemed fine. The next night (Friday, late) I read an email from them saying if I did not send in my report by 12 (midnight, 25 minutes from then) I could loose the job. I sent emails to different addresses, telling them I had submitted and tried to call.... closed for the weekend..... then I do get unassigned with never a response to an email or anything..... this is the MSC that will not tell you details or payment until you accept and pass a quiz. Anybody know? Is this something they do? Only my second job with them.

Got on the MSC to see if other companies had moved to them from CRI. Yup, my fears had become reality. The DIY that rhymes with "knows" has also moved and at a standard rate and exact same requirements/assignment info. Yuck to not being able to hold out for higher commissions.

can someone tell me who does exxon mobil shops in the valley and louisiana

I'm still learning 24/7.
Asking the question once can be chalked up to being naive or really new. Asking all over the place and then becoming an ass over the whole thing can only be chalked up to, well, being an ass. winking smiley
