Yeah.. I jump all over those "commission increase" emails... I jump as fast as I can to DELETE them.

I totally do not get those penny increases. "No, I won't do your gas shop for $1, but I'll do it for $1.57." Huh??

It is rather insulting.

Beyond insulting. I can't believe some people do these for either this MSC or the other one. "Yup, 50 cents more, I'm ALL OVER that one. Better log in and grab it NOW!" I think not.

That 32¢ is just what I needed to pay for my popcorn. HUH? Who comes up with this idea?

And yes, it is beyoond insulting!
Hmmm. I was just responding to steph043 that in another thread that, "Over time you will find the reliable workhorse companies that respond with shoppers in a businesslike fashion. Of course they require shoppers perform in a businesslike fashion. But after all, you are running a business and developing business relationships." CORI has always flown in the face of 'respond with shoppers in a businesslike fashion' with their fees that have no relationship to the work involved but rather are aimed at folks who feel either their situation is desperate enough they must take such work or who have so little self esteem that the pay seems fair for their time. Sure, I will take one from time to time if I am going to be in the area anyway to help flesh out a route, but I do not consider them a business relationship worth developing. I cannot imagine taking the 100 or 200 gas locations per month to get a higher rate--I would die of boredom from the sheer repetitiveness.
I just can't bring myself to buy $1.00 worth of gas. Not when it's almost $3 a gallon here. Ridiculous. I feel like if they want the shop done right, at least reimburse for a gallon for god's sake! It's laughable to me, as is this 32 cents. Once in a while I'll go for a free movie night with my husband.
insulting maybe... but i have found them good to work for... the pay is low... but i have not found anyone in here that has had trouble getting pay from them... and to me thats a blessing ... im still waiting on several of my other shopping sites to pay me but cori has paid me twice already totaling 40 bucks...

Do they have trailer checking assignments now or do they only have concession stand shops in theaters still?
They only do theater shops for a small chain in the tri state NYC area.
No trailer checks...
In my area they have those notorious gas station shops where they send out e-mails saying if you do a route of 30 you get paid $6.00 per shop. Thing is, every gas station around here is at least 30 miles from the next so you would literally be driving all over the state for $6.00 a shop. The shops were already commissioned close to $6.00 each before you were even allowed to schedule a route. So, tell me again why I'd want to schedule a route? I liked it better when they used to just up every shop by a dollar every few days.
Topaz, they still do that with the gas station shops. At least in my area. I never take a route. I just assign the ones I want as they get bonused.
They finally got a client I am willing to shop at what they are willing to pay. Hooray.

I have only shopped one client for this company, but I've done that client a couple of times. It was when I first started and I was pretty excited to get a free shirt. Honestly, after all this time I would still snag that shop even though it is reimbursement only. It is hands down the easiest shop I have ever completed. None of the others seem worth it. I slogged my way through that long gas station test and have yet to take one of the jobs because it just seems so underpaid and unappealing.

It could just be in my area, but often times that shop ends up getting bonused way over reimbursement only. The last one I saw got up to $41.00 before someone took it. I wish I could have, but there was no way for me to get to that store on the day it needed to be done.
That one never gets bonuses here.

It truly is an easy shop, in the store and reporting. Normally, there's a no-return in the guidelines. However, if it's not your taste, style, etc. - it can be gifted or donated. Definitely worthwhile.
some of you with problems in the theater check just might not get them fast enough... i know that was the problem with me... im willing to bet the theater checks are from another company... at least they are in my area... they go really fast in my area because the ss company pays so much for them... compared to their other shops... and they are easy... you dont even have to have internet because you talk to someone over the phone... i got one set up for tomorrow... so uh... 12 bucks here i come! yeeHAW!
