Gapbuster Calls

Last night at midnight my phone rang. It was an overseas representative from Gapbuster, just "reminding" me that I had a shop to do the following day.

What the heck!! First of all, I know I have a shop to complete and if you would like to remind me, please do it via email. Second - midnight?? I realize that you are calling me from another continent, but don't you factor in time zones before placing your call?

Call me anytime to remind me to do a $17.00 cell phone shop for $150.00. I keep my phone on vibrate when home so I don't hear it anyway/
I haven't worked for them yet. They only thing they have near me is a restaurant. It reimburses 35.00. They want you to take a guest, have two drinks a piece, an appetizer, 2 mAin dishes , and allow the server to upsell you for desert and or an extra course. I never heard of the restaurant so I checked it out, average for dinner here is 25-35 a person. After reading some yelp reviews it seems you have to go certain hours for discounts. So I hope they change their fee or really bonus it because they aren't even paying you enough for one person to eat there let alone two.

I didn't want to start a new thread about GAPbuster and this is the most recent one I could find. I had a cell phone shop yesterday that we negotiated a fee of $86 for. The guy put it on my board at $17 and told me the fee would be updated within 24 hours. This was Tuesday night. Did the shop yesterday, get ready to report, fee still shows $17. Sent him an email about getting the shop fee (and dates were wrong) correct last night. Still not update, but I woke up to overdue emails. I'm not inputting the shop until the fee gets fixed. With the problems people have had with this company and pay I don't think I'll ever see that extra $69. Problem is I have 3 more today and don't know what to do. Advise?

I have had a fee sit at a lower amount for more than 24 hours as well, but I have never had it not raised. My advice would be to input the report asap and complete your shops scheduled for today. This was Tuesday night and it is Thursday morning now - I am betting you will see an update by this evening. Best of luck!

Saturday morning and after 4 days of emails back and forth the shop dates and fees are still not correct. Guess I can kiss that $240 goodbye.

I have been told by Gapbuster that if you enter the dates the submission form allows (evenif they are wrong), you can make the correction by stating that you are making a correction and list the correct dates, in the "Do you have any comments" section. Works like a charm. Good luck.
Yeah, well I'm still not inputting them when the shop fees are set at about $70 for the 4 when they should be at $240.

So what ended up happening? I've gotten the phone call and told the scheduler I wouldn't do the shop until the fees were updated. But the first time, I did it before the fee "official" and they did raise it within a few days but after a lot of emailing.
As of a couple of hours ago still not updated, so obviously still not reported. I emailed again last night and again was promised they would be updated within 24 hours. I was hoping to pick up 4 more of these later this week but doesn't look like that's gonna happen!

That's a bummer. They really only have two shops in my area, but I like them both, so I take them when I can get them. A bonus is just, well, a bonus.
