Maritz Incentive Shops

Got an email which was nicely written this morning and it seems they have a separate board for the increased incentive shops. They were all gas shops and not of interest to me but it bothers me that they have two different boards and if you don't have the "secret" URL, you won't see them.

Maritz overcomplicates every thing they do.

Seriously, nobody cares that you're offended.

Maritz has done this for awhile now. Just call them, and barter with them on the phone. Depending on how bad they need a shop done, they'll pay for it quite nicely.

At the very least, tuck away those numbers for future use. There's your minimum request for an end of quarter bonus for those locations.

So, how much work do you need to have done for them before you get to see the secret website?

I've only done one shop for them which was a bank call shop. The "secret" shops are for gas and I don't do those. I don't feel agile enough to hop around and take photos of the pumps.

I've received these emails, however have never been able to figure out how to apply their instructions. For example, today, it stated something like, "Where it says "Enter ID", paste (this long string of characters/numbers)". WTH are they talking about???? I finally gave up after I had copied and pasted every single combination I could think of.

The emails I get have link to click on that takes you right to the shops.

The link I click on leads me to the "Home" Log-in page. The email I received, seconds ago, stated (for the first time), "after you log in". Still can't figure it out.

When you log in, you should go right to the shops. I don't know.

I got one for banks today. I have only completed 5 shops for them all about 10 months ago. When I go to the main page the bonuses did not show up. I had to click on the link in the email to see them. Very good bonuses, I picked up 6 of them.

I just spoke to a Maritz scheduler who says there "may" be an issue with some folks not being able to see what is available. CALL THEM..

I did pick up a couple of the bank shops, but for the gs I might be in that category. As much as I love, love money, I don't like, like gs shops...so it's okay.

If you click the link that says click this link, it takes you to the login page, but when you login it takes you right to the list. No need to login then go back and click the link. At least that's how it works for me. Crappy bonuses though. Most of mine were $5 with like 2 $15's thrown in.

Mary Davis Nowell. Based close to Fort Worth. Shopping Interstate 20 east and west, Interstate 35 north and south.

In the email that say the shops are with extra payment up to $60. But it looks like somebody accidently pressed "0" on his keyboard and "0" (zero) often makes a big difference. Driving over 40 miles for an extra payment of $5-7.5 is not really worth an effort.

For the bank shops I saw some bonuses as high as $20.

I picked up one 25 miles away for a bonus of $15. It's fine because I happen to be doing the two stations next door this week, so I just get to go down the row and do the third one.

I picked up 2 with a $15 bonus. They are close to where I have to to court next week which is about 70-80 miles from me. I figured I may as well make a little money as well as get my gas paid for. Me and my lead foot. Lol. I may pick up a couple more I saw out that way and try to make enough to cover my ticket, or at least part of it. Come to think of it, I was doing the POP audits for Maritz when I got the ticket. Ironic.

All that show on my board are gas but some are at $60 - of course, in very out of the way towns with lots of wide open miles in between. And I do not do gas shops. Sure wish they would get some bank shops in my corner of the world.

I picked up two gas stations bonused at $50 each. This is the first time, there has been something in the areas that I travel to, so I'm a happy camper!

I have not hit $100 on a station, yet...but I did 2 today for $77 each.

The e-mail I received was for banks and I believe the bonused shops or the "secret link" is for proven shoppers. If you are still new to them, you will probably have to perform some regular shops first. TBH, it does make sense to me.

Shop2Live - No, I am not seeing bank shops because Maritz does not have any in this area. I have spoken to the schedulers. They are always calling me to do gas shops but I really do not want to do those. Since they left me view the "secret" incentive shops, they obviously aren't concerned that I have not done a number of shops for them.

Max I've done a gas shop for was $70. But I did 4 of them at $70, and another 4 at $50, in addition to a few other shops. Wish I could do those routes every month!

Normally love maritz but had a situation yesterday with them. Scheduler called me in the morning asking about 4 shops, 3 hours driving time round trip, she said she would get back to me. Later that evening another scheduler called about the same 4 shops and once again she put in for them. The scheduler called back and said I got the shops so I scheduled a couple of $10.00 shops. The scheduler called me back 20 minutes later and said the shops had been given to someone else. I was not happy cause now I can drive 3 hours for $20.00 or risk having my shopper rating knocked down with the other company. NOT COOL! Sometimes it takes them all day to let you know meanwhile they are trying to find shoppers for less money however I have to make a living so I can't wait all day.

Cody, sorry that happened to you. Before you book shops to tuck into your route, check your current jobs list on Maritz and see if the new Maritz shops are there. Since they sometimes have more than one scheduler trying to place shops, that snafu you got caught up in can happen. Also, it's worked well for me to courteously tell the scheduler my firm offer is good until XX o'clock today. Yes, they make you wait while they shop for a cheaper shopper if you let that happen.
