Fewer Maritz Phone Calls Thankfully

In the past, Maritz would call multiple times per day several times per week. Lately, their calls have slowed dramatically. Not sure if this is a result of them being over-worked with all the new clients, or if they are taking a new approach.

I much prefer how they now send email job opportunities with incentives already listed. However, it is still fun to barter with them via the phone at times, especially when they come back with low-ball counter-offers that I counter-counter offer.

I think it's a bit of both, though the overworking seems to be a large part of it. I get the operator or a voice mail almost all the time now when I call for at least teams 3 and 5.
I haven't gotten any calls from them the last 2 weeks either. I also can't get ahold of anyone when I call with questions anymore. Not sure if it's a posite or a com, but I am enjoying the peace and quiet of my day without their calls.

Floating around like a feather hoping the wind will set me down somewhere awesome.
I am still getting their calls. Between them and my merchandising company, I don't have time to do anything for other MSC's. I guess thats good since I like the big checks I have been getting. But putting all that money out for the gas purchase is breaking me. I keep saying I am not going to take any more until I complete what I already have scheduled and then they call offering a bonus and I can't seem to say no.
I have recently started working for Maritz, so far it seems they are the most confusing of all other MSC. Between the calls, that say they are returning a call I never placed, or not responding to email or phone calls, depending on the team.... I am debating if I will do any more shops for them.

Typically if you click on "Print/View Complete List of Shops for this Project" under any shop, it should specify the bonus amount unless it is part of a route.

Once you get the hang of the way they do things, it will be worth it. They have so many major clients now that it is worth a little hassle to obtain ongoing work and often with decent bonuses.

I would keep on contacting them. I had to do so once with a toll they agreed to pay. It took several conversations for them to track down who agreed to pay for it.
