Rescheduling Question with MF (Issue Resolved)

Sorry to start another MF thread but this question does not apply to the other threads. I have two grocery shops scheduled with MF for tomorrow (April 9th.) On my way home tonight, I was driving right past one of the locations and I was still within the time frame to perform the shop so I went ahead and did it. I thought I could just reschedule the date to today's date when I got home but when I logged in, today's date was no longer showing. This was before 9 PM.

I immediately e-mailed the help desk. They give the impression that people are constantly checking the help desk e-mail. It has almost been an hour and no response.

Does anyone know if I can go ahead and submit the report a day early without actually rescheduling that date? Or do I just wait for a response which probably won't be until tomorrow? I figured they would be happy that I was able to perform the shop early. Most shoppers probably reschedule to later dates.

Any ideas?

if its a store that gets shopped more then once
a month there may need to be a certain number
of days between shoppers there so if another
shopper was there recently, it would present

No, that's not the case. One location shopped within the date range. I just don't know if I can even attempt to put the report in. It is now past 10:30 PM so I have moved on to another report. Thanks anyway.

They stop showing the current day's date sometime during the day. I have run into that problem myself. I imagine the help desk will help you get it scheduled for today, though since it still is today.
@ TeriW ~ Were you able to submit the report without being able to change the date in their system? They still have not responded.

I wasn't trying to reschedule a shop, but schedule a new one. I wasn't sure if I'd be in the area in time to do it beforehand. By the time I know, it was too late. It didn't matter, since I wasn't scheduled in the first place, so I just didn't do it.

I would call the HelpDesk ASAP. They have been very helpful lately. I don't know what will happen if you submit the report with today's date instead of tomorrow's.
Does anyone know what time they open? Still no response from the Help Desk the next day. I have called twice this morning and left a V/M once. Still no answer.

BTW, if you read #92 of their FAQs section, they basically insinuate that phone calls to their office reduce shopper fees. Ha, ha, ha!

Shop2Live, did you work this out? Oddly, I have the same issue today. I am trying to do a shop right now, but can't reschedule it. I had scheduled it for yesterday, but they rescheduled it due to a conflict. They scheduled it for tomorrow, but that doesn't work for me. I could do it later in the week, but it would be two hours of extra driving and I am in the parking structure right now waiting for the Helpdesk to email. Aargh!
@ TeriW ~ Yes, I eventually got it worked out after multiple e-mails to the Help Desk and multiple phone calls this morning. The phone call got the quicker response. They weren't able to change the date of the shop to yesterday's date but they wrote a note on my account giving me permission to submit the report with yesterday's timings and receipt. I offered to re-perform the shop on another night but they really wanted to use my report.

They said in the future to not perform a shop early unless I manually go in and change the date BEFORE performing it. Otherwise it is best not to perform the shop a day early.

Now it sounds like your shop was already rescheduled once. Is that correct? You can only reschedule once. Otherwise the Help Desk needs to get involved and I'm not sure how they will handle a second reschedule request since I have never done it.

Good luck and keep us updated. I wouldn't hold my breath waiting to hear from the Help Desk after hours. I didn't get a response until after 11 AM today...more than 14 hours after my original e-mail.

I tried to change the subject line to remove the time sensitive notation since my problem has come and gone. As the OP of this thread, am I allowed to change the subject line? If yes, please tell me how. TIA

I didn't reschedule it, MF did. But that isn't the issue. The issue is that today's date isn't available anymore. I think this is because MF's system is in a different time zone and they don't adjust for this. This means that they think it is already past the deadline, when it is not.

@ StormCloud ~ Thanks. I was clicking on the actual subject line which didn't do anything.

@ TeriW ~ I think the shop can only be rescheduled once whether you do or MF does it but I am not 100% positive. They told me this morning that just because the date is there in the morning, it may not still be there when you go to do the shop early. That is why they said in the future that I should not perform the shop early without actually changing the date in their system ahead of time.

I would call their office tomorrow and explain the situation. They accepted my report by putting comments on my account for the editors. I would not make this a habit though.

I haven't done the shop yet. I'm not sure if I will do it or not. If not, I will probably have to cancel it since I can't do it on the day they rescheduled it for and the other days would require two hours of extra driving. Since the schedule issue is not of my doing, I hope they will be understanding.

I am able to reschedule the shop. I just can't reschedule it for today because the date is no longer available.
