I am perplexed as I have never been rejected. Do they look for a certain demographic?

they maybe just have enough in your area right now. Read the other thread about Gapbusters, a lot of people are not happy with them.

I was rejected too, years ago. Haven't lost a bit of sleep over it and have more than enough work to keep me going.
