I got into it with them over a barrage of emails for a certain bookstore shop Wednesday. I was near one of them, the desperation level was increasing, I was willing to go do the shop, but I couldn't find the shop on the board. Four emails in 45 minutes. I finally sent them a note saying I couldn't find any of that shop on the board; I thought maybe they had some glitch and the shops weren't showing up. Naively thought they might want to look into it.
I was told if I didn't meet the age requirement I wouldn't be able to see it.
I have never before gotten emails from them for shops I couldn't see on the board. I suspect they used to screen on qualification and aren't any more.
The scheduler was really snarky with me when I suggested, quite politely, that they should put the age requirement in the email and told her about all the time I wasted searching repeatedly with different criteria trying to find the shop they were begging me to do. She then claimed that "everyone else" knew that if a shop wasn't visible it meant they didn't meet the age requirement. Yeah. Right. Everyone but me knew by osmosis that this would cause a shop not to show up. I suspect most people just didn't care enough to pursue it to bother saying anything about it.
Those emails now do contain the age restriction information. So I guess my suggestion wasn't such a bad idea after all. But the barrage has continued, and I've had sets of four emails in a row on other of their shops in the last two days. If they don't stop soon I'll cut off emails from them.
And that snarky scheduler can go pound sand the next time she needs a shop done as far as I'm concerned. That MSC has really gone downhill since Stericycle took over.
Time to build a bigger bridge.
