Um...Strange job board..... (Market Force)

On the Market Force job board, I see 124 jobs (Oh great!) so I quickly assign one, refresh the page and there are 45 left?

Now, I know I can see 20 going off the board in about 1 minute..but 80???? (big city, lots of shops)

So, what do you think it is?

Do you think we are restricted by so many certain foodie shops? When we hit that, we can't have anymore?

Is it a ghost shopper?

Have you guys see this happening lately?

I'm having issues with MF and my chrome browser. It just started this month. Anyone else?

LOTS of issues lately. Page taking forever to load, half loading, missing questions, potential jobs that were there ...are pooof gone....I notice if you leave the site, (I've had to do this in the middle of the report) and come back in, it saves your work you already did and you continue on..

The new and improved WebFC and Indonesian call-center schedulers are supposed to make things more efficient, so that they can pass along the savings to us. Says so right there on their home page. Ya'll seen any savings passed along yet?

I have to use IE for Market Force.

It's possible that once you take a shop, it takes it a moment to figure out what conflicts there may be from you taking that one shop. For instance, their "banking" shops require two weeks between the end of one shop and the start of the other, so once you have one assigned, you won't see any others until two weeks after you close out that shop.

Time to build a bigger bridge.

At least one FF client has a max number that a shopper can do in a cycle. Hit that, and I think the rest disappear.

I betcha that's it!

I do A LOT of foodie shops, over and over..

Me too..over and over and over again. No one else seems to want to drive a distance to do them.

Oh well.

All I know now is that the job board is small.

I had big problems with Chrome for months so I just started using FireFox for MF then today I happened to click a link to MF via Chrome and it worked fine. Go figure.

Yeah I know for sure that one of the food shops- once you take one, the others go away. So make sure the one you take is the one that's most convenient for you! But I can always take multiple clothing store, cell phone, and burger shops.

I've taken food shops and the other didn't disappear. It must have something to do with your limit, I'm guessing.

A MF scheduler once called me with a bonus to do one of the FF shops, and while I had her on the phone, I asked if she could do anything for another of the FF shops in my town. She asked for the location, I gave it, and she looked it up and said "Sorry, they're owned by the same franchisee, so you can't schedule them so close together."(Next day)

Maybe that's why some are disappearing off the boards when you schedule?

Yes with movie shops for Certified

I've always had the problem with trying to see what shops were available so have to adjust the miles and also list a different zip code from my own to get a listing of more shops and shops closer to me.

Silver certified (since 2009) and willing to do shops all around the greater Chicago, NW Indiana, and Southern Wisconsin areas (including airports!.

Define "small?"

The job board here averages 60-80 jobs on the board daily, hitting over 100 when they list new ones.... (with me taking TONS of them)

I know I definitely hit my "limit" on many of these. It makes so much sense...

Oops. Small means 5 shops in my area. I've never seen anything near 60 shops in my area. Never.

I had to laugh this morning. Last night a bunch of burger places were listed at $12, including the one across from my house, so I picked it up. Today I checked in, thinking if they're at $12 maybe I could get a scheduler to give me a bit more. The shops all said, "Changed fee!" and were back down to their normal amount. Nuts!

Okay. There are over 50 shops now. The hedgehog shops are back!

and a few obviously rejected gas stations too. Should I or shouldn't I?
