Merge Beyond Hello Mystery Researchers

Ok, were you surprised about the merge with Beyond Hello and Mystery Researchers. I sure was. Never mind. I am late to the party.

it's being handled sloppy so far from what I see.

I will become a giant CF as Mystery shoppers have the most inefficient editors that do not know what each is doing. I did not get paid for 8 bank shops as the editors did not pass around emails to each other. I cancelled a shop in a timely manner due to a scheduling issue and got flaked for it. When I sent the email showing that I cancelled in time, I got no response. I finally told them just to not pay me and enjoy their life. It was a good lesson
This merge will be a giant c-------f----- and I cannot use the correct verbiage here. A marriage between equals.

Why would you tell them to not pay you after they already refused to pay you for 8 shops and gave you a flake citation? Sounds like you tried to quit after you were already fired.
I have a big issue with Mystery Researchers, which I have previously mentioned in this forum, but to refresh:

I did the FF menu audits for Insula Research through Mystery Researchers for $15 plus $1 reimbursement in August. When paid on time in September, my pay was there but not my reimbursements; so I decided to take appropriate action due to the concept that I completed the shops as specified, but was not paid completely as specified.

I attempted to handle this internally with Mystery Researchers, but was basically blown off by Pam Simons and Lisa Van Kesteren (lack of response by both). Finally, I escalated the issue and on their normal October payment, I received my reimbursements.

Fast forward to when Mystery Researchers accquired Beyond Hello... I logged in and discovered I was deactivated from Beyond Hello; even though all of my ratings were 8 and above with Beyond Hello and I had never flaked or had a rejected shop with BH.

I contacted Greg, one of the schedulers with Beyond Hello that I had always had good rapport with, and he said he couldn't figure out the reason I had been deactivated, and he forwarded my request to one of his supervisors, Tasha, to figure everything out. He forwarded this to Tasha on October 23rd, and I have still yet to hear anything.

Honestly, I don't expect to hear anything. I just wanted to speak about Mystery Researchers for being petty. Good company to work for, but if you have a dispute with payment, they will deactivate you. No hard feelings though; trust me, I am definitely not hurting for work.

Peace of mind is a lot better than dealing with companies that act like a shopper is just a number to them and expendable if there's a dispute. I'm better off without them and I'm happy with the direction that this industry is taking me.

I just figured I would throw my two cents in about this. Sorry about writing a novella smiling smiley

Not scheduling for ANY company.

Something interesting is that yesterday my Paypal account was credited $25 from Mystery Researchers and I had not done a shop for them during the time this payment covered. So I'm trying to figure out what's going on here and I was giving up on trying when I went to Beyond Hello to see if they had any shops and it turns out that that was where the $25 came from for my mall shop I did during this time period. So yeah they really have merged and if anyone is wondering where money may have come from as I did - the payments from Beyond Hello are going to be listed as coming from Mystery Researchers it seems.
Mystery Researchers bought Insula and Beyond Hello, but they will use the Beyond Hello site for all companies.
Partial message posted on the log-in page for BH...

"For Mystery Researchers and Insula Research shoppers, we are in the process of moving as many profiles as possible into the Beyond Hello system.
Not all your data will transfer, though, so you will need to review and update before being ready to apply for shops."

Does anyone know if our shop logs of completed shops will transfer over? Or do we need to access and copy/print/whatever them before the web sites are shut down?

I can not imagine the shop logs from the Sassie system being transferred over to the Beyond Hello system. The systems are incompatible. Also, why would they bother? I keep records of all my shops in an Excel file. Other than using the Sassie system to check payment dates and scores (with MSC's), I don't know why I would want to look at the shop log.

I access previous shop logs often from my smartphone while on the road especially if I need to check rotation availability before applying for a job. As far as I know, I can not access my Excel spreadsheets from my cell. If I wait until I have access to my computer, the shops will be gone. You snooze, you lose.

Apply for the job. If you don't meet rotation requirements, Sassie won't let you apply, and it will tell you why. The other systems won't let you either, as far as I can tell. I email my Excel sheet to myself using Gmail. I can open it on my Android smartphone, and I find that very convenient at times, but not to check rotation requirements. But if you want to open your spreadsheet on the road to check your rotation, you can. Try it.
