Confero

I am looking for the phone number or email address to contact the accounting office of Confero. I may have not been paid for several shops I did in Sept. and would like to contact them to verify.

Thanks.

I hate to say this but good luck with getting paid if there is a mistake or oversight. They will pay what they want when they want. Confero shorted my reimbursements on over 20 shops. I received a portion of the amount in a timely manner. My scores were 9 and 10s.

However, I have been fighting them since January 2014. I called the numbers on their website repeatedly and left messages without a callback. I sent emails to every email address I could find while a response. The closest I got to resolution was emailing a scheduler who said she would pass my email along but no one responded.

Frankly, Confero sucks! The reports are easy and I love the client that I did the shops for but what is the point if you can't get paid.
Found this on thier website. Hope it helps.

If you have a question about a payment, please email Confero at shopperpayments@conferoinc.com Be sure to include your assignment number, date the shop was conducted and your first and last name.
The same thing here. I done shops for them and did not get paid for some of them. I tried and tried to get this solved but they tell me i was paid and I need to check with Pay Pal. They correspondence about the deposits in Question.
This does not brake my bank but its not right for a company to treat you this way.
Do not do any shops for them. You will not get paid for some. And to top it all they will not answer any of your e-mails
and make no effort to help. I am sure they got PAID???
It's very strange to hear this about Confero. I have done shops with them for over 4 years and have not had a payment issue yet. Hope it gets sorted out!
I finally had a Confero rep respond through email saying they would look into it. Many months later and they still have not contacted me. You have to be careful with them. All of my reports scored high. However, they simply did not pay the parking fees that were promised in the offer.
They told me my work was crappy and fired me. Hundreds of shops later, I'm still here.
I also was told I was paid for my first shop; but I never received payment. I got a one sentence response from someone telling me basically to just wait. I completed another mystery shop for them that is due to pay out next pay day. I won't do any more for them. If anyone can find a telephone number for someone who can help, please let me know.
I have never had an issue with Confero either. I'm sorry some of you have struggled with them!
They finally increased the reimbursement amount on a sub shop. It's only one dollar more but I have been continually disappointed that the required minimum purchase was not fully covered at all the locations I shop. The last response from a scheduler was to think of the reimbursement as a "discount".

With the original $10 amount, I originally was able to stay under the reimbursement for a select amount of sandwiches. Personally, I preferred the Italian and didn't mind going over the amount as I love the food quality for that client. With the $1 increase, it makes the shop even more worth it for me, as a shopper!

My problem was that if the cashier suggested a combo you had to accept it. That always put me over the reimbursed amount here in Southern Californua.

Agreed; that's what irked me about the shop, as I like the tea, but never cared for the chips. At the same time, the $10 reimbursement was great for what it was, as the quality of the client's food stands out compared to other sub sandwich chains. But now that it's $11? EVEN BETTER! grinning smiley

I want to say NO when they always ask me if I want it made "Xxxx's Way" because “The Juice” ( vinegar 2 rows/oil 3 rows) is just way too much oil and vinegar. It's usually to the point that I have to wring the liquid out the sandwich before I try to eat it. I have sat down and turned the sandwich upside down on a pile of napkins before I filled my drink to avoid the bread from being soggy.
I was happy I was not asked on my last shop. I got the sandwich with mayo, the way I prefer it.

I always so yes to the question but then tell the preparer, "but no oil or vinegar". So technically I've answered yes to "xxxx's way" but then modified it to the way I want it.

Part of the shop is to verify that they do make it "xxxx's way" correctly. By making it a special order, you are not checking to see that they lay down the proper amounts and ingredients. If they ever view video and compare your special order to your report that states they made it "xxxx's way", your shop could be invalidated.

Thanks, I will have to look more closely at how the questions are worded next time. I thought it was just if they asked or not.
Actually, there are two areas in the guidelines that address this:

Under Required Purchase: "Listen for offer to make it “XXXXXX’s Way”. If offered, accept."

In the reporting area, there is a section entitled "Product and XXXXXX's way):

•Order was accurate in terms of toppings, meats, cheeses, bread, size
•Asked if you wanted the sub “ XXXXXX”S WAY”?
•XXXXXX’s Way made in proper order: onions, lettuce, tomatoes, “The XXXXX” ( vinegar 2 rows/oil 3 rows)"

And the report asks: "Did the team members ask if you wanted it “XXXXXX’s Way” and
prepare it correctly?"

That would sort of indicate to me that IF it is offered to me, I must accept. If offered and I accept, I must let them prepare it that way so I can report whether it met standards set by the client.
