Marketforce Uugh

I just received notice from Marketforce that I almost 30 receipts behind, going back to November. I have fsithfully scanned every receipt into the system and never received an error message but I did notice in December that the receipt status page showed a few that had not been received. I called the help desk to inquire and they told me some were not required by the client and not to worry. So I didn't. I received a check for November and never gave it another thought until I received notice that I'm deactivated until I bring the receipts up to date, by fax only. I've had to return to storage to get Novembers receipts and have been working on this for a few hours now. I guess I'm just disgusted but how do you all handle this? It's turned into a paperwork nightmare!

I try and remember to check the status page from time to time. I typically do not forget receipts but I might miss a message that my receipt is bigger than allowed (maybe that's what happened to you?) and I have to upload again.

How log have you been shopping for MF? Generally, MF receipt page will you let know how many receipts are needed per shop. Check to see if you submitted or re-submitted those necessary receipts. And check the status page every time, it lets you know if a receipt or CPI was received after you have submitted your report. Especially if you scanned or submitted them before you have done the report.smiling smiley

When you were paid you in November, you were probably being paid for October, so there was no problem then. MF probably looked at the "missing or no receipts" when they were getting together your November shops for December checks. And you do want to get PAID. Don't get disgusted, use this as a learning curve. Everything will work out.smiling smiley
I make it a habit to check the status page a few times after I've completed the report. I keep checking until I see it has been verified.

I'm amazed that you are missing so many receipts and they have just informed you of that now.

If I'm reading correctly she was paid for her November shops, not just in November. Then in December saw just a few missing receipts and now they are all gone? It certainly doesn't seem normal for something to go from received status to missing in action. It is also odd they would continue to pay/reimburse with no receipts. Deactivating a shopper for what is sounding like a MF error is awfully heavy-handed.

For what it is worth, I take a picture of all my receipts and keep them on my computer. It might be easier than digging through storage...?
I've got mine in folders for each shop. So, if I needed to find one, I would be able to in a flash. smiling smiley
Yes and today I entered a receipt for a drive thru and a dine in combo. It took one and not the other but when I went back to enter the other again that shop was not on the log for enter Cpi/receipts. Of course I called and no one answers. And I have faxed all and gotten an error message from three different fax machines that marketforce fax is on but not answering. Just curious if this happens to everyone.
I have never forgotten a MF receipt because I upload it and submit the CPI immediately after I complete the report. And why is your November paperwork and documents already in storage? I have my stuff in a storage box sitting on my dining room table but since I am still owed money for October, November and December shops, I need to keep everything accessible for now.
I had a run of shops over a year ago where two receipt slots were provided, but only one was applicable. I did not provide the second receipt, because there wasn't one, and the system automatically came after me for them a month later. An email to MarketForce cleared that up.

Now I have a little note saved to my desktop that says, "receipt not available- not provided" and another that states "receipt not available- closed location." That way I have something to drop into the receipt slot so the system doesn't automatically ding me for not providing one.
There are 4 status phases: Received, Rejected, Verified (that's the one you want) or Submitted. (did I forget any others?)

Each time I do the report, I go to Receipt Status page, and they are usually accepted right away. A few times I got distracted and realized I had not submitted ----(phone rang or some such distraction)---- but the status page saved the day! smiling smiley
I do my report, give them the needed receipt/s and sign the CPI right away.

I then make sure all is accepted and verified. It's become a habit now. smiling smiley
Did you verify that your CPI's were digitally signed? I know for a fact that not signing your CPI holds your report back from Market Force QC. I know this because I had submitted a report once, but overlooked signing the CPI. As a result, I received a "late" notice for my report, even though my report was submitted.

Not sure if the same thing happens to the receipts if your CPI isn't signed.

If your receipts are scanned into your computer--you may be able to fax directly from the computer...if you have a landline you should be able to fax through that....or you might be able to use something like efax
Fax Zero - it includes an advertisement cover page but who cares. You can fax multiple pages for free.
I was told by MF they have to be faxed. I have no idea why. I now keep them in a file in my computer and the reason they are stored is because my taxes are done already and ALL of my 2014 paperwork is in storage. This is definitely a learning process!
I, like others, send my cpi right away and also check the cpi receipts page right away. I forgot once in 2 years, and it was last week. I noticed there was a shop I had not sent the cpi for (on that status page) and immediately did it. I have found that they rarely answer the phone, but always seem to respond quickly to emails. Never had any problems with them, other than a few invalidated shops because I did not order exactly, and they were not mean about it, just firm. I really like them, and the fact that they pay the entire previous months shops on the 10th of the following month.
I wish that they would offer me the florist flower arrangement shop again. Signed, Night Owl at 1:30 AM.
Regarding the missing 30 receipts, if they have paid you and you had checked to see that all was verified, I would say it's a computer glitch on their end. Doesn't make it any easier for you though, I realize that. You might want to do what I do, several times a month, I print the verification page, the one that shows your receipts verified and your CPI submitted. (For anyone who may not know, just hi-lite the form, right click and hit print). I do this to keep track of all my jobs also, then at the end of the month I print the last one and compare it to my reports to make sure everything is listed.
Like many others stated, I also keep folders on my computer for each job and copies of my receipts and pictures are stored there. I have a main heading for Market Force and folders inside with assignment ID - location - date, that way I can find what I need at a glance. I know none of the "tips" help for this situation but maybe they will help keep it from happening again or give you some leverage, especially if you print the verification page showing everything verified and submitted. At least you have a hard copy in hand that proves at one time they were all there.

I haven't had a missing receipt problem with Market Force, but I have with Maritz...even when I send them a scan of the print out showing they received the receipt[s).

Once I am paid, I purge all paperwork associated with those assignments (unless the MSC requires it be retained for a specified amount of time). However, in a case like this, I wouldn't go back to the paper copies anyway; I would pull up the scanned copy on my computer. I always keep the current month's scans/photos/videos on my Skydrive, then next month I will move this month to my external hard drive.
I'm so used to using the [] instead of (). I had the s in receipts in the [] which is also the code for strikethrough.

I thought he no longer had a PV-500 and so was no longer willing to travel and, on top of it, had run out of the right questions. (tongue sticking out smiley

I have the ultimate right question that I ask at almost every new home shop...and it fits right in with the 4 radio antennas on my car.
