Service Savvy - they use to pay. I have not done any jobs for them in a long time.

Mercantile - they (if it's the company I am thinking it is) pays with gift cards and sometimes a small check.
Merc has always paid me with real money. No gift cards for this girlsmiling smiley

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.

Never try to teach a pig to sing. It's a waste of your time and it really annoys the pig.

I did a certain restaurant for them and got paid in gift cards. (I accumulated over $300 worth) The reason I did not mind, is that I would collect them and use them on special occasions. It was neat to see the "pile" accumulate. Because all of my other companies that were paying cash, I was good with it.

Here was how it worked: If you did lunch, you got $25 card, (no matter how small your bill was) For dinner, you got $40 gift card (no matter how low your dinner bill was) so in essence, you were paid more than a regular reimbursement only type of shop.

Now, I can't find that certain restaurant on the boards but would LOVE to accumulate some more cards! smiling smiley
