"Fraudulent" Report

That is some lovely advice Dspeakes. I am having an uber frustrating week and need to go follow it.. Helion cut my payments in half as they disagreed with the data, and I had a gas station rejected, although the scheduler agreed with me. There was nothing to purchase but automotive items that were double the reimbursement amount and I was torn on what to do. I deactivated myself with Helion, and the rest of my shops this past week got 10s.. but it's made me a grumpy girl this morning.

Sorry to hear about Helion... Did they accept the report and later cut the payment? I was just going to post that I got paid for my 2 shops...

After accepting a Helion job in February I looked them up here and found payment issues on top of agreement their site sucks. Got paid okay, though communication was brutal and they asked me to do more. Thought since the first shop went okay that I would be okay to do more. I'm super frustrated the other 5 are apparently a problem and they were doing me a favour paying me half. So I did myself a favour and found the deactivate button smiling smiley

Thank you. You are correct. Sadly I have never seen a Pretzel shop in Ontario grinning smiley Though I am signed up with the MSC I think does them. I will totally have a glass of wine and move up and on from this. Just gah, what a week. It is nice to commiserate on the forum though, knowing it is not just you.
I missed your post earlier eo. They were accepted as finished like my first one in the system. I had no idea anything was wrong. They didn't like the tablet count apparently. When I emailed to ask what happened as I'd have never taken 5 for the crappy pay I was told I had gotten an email about it. I check my email endlessly.. I never was sent the email they forwarded that I can tell. I've had no issue getting emails from Helion other then the one telling me they were apparently graciously paying me half.
I do not know from where your Helion correspondents came...but mine hail from a kind of a 'third world country in Europe' ... I know this for a fact...so please don't really blame them!! For THEIR standards, they are making you a favor to pay in half!! They are so used to working hard for peanuts!! Why do you think Helion employs them? The company is based in Brussels, but the employees are not locals.

The emails I have received from Helion orginate from schedulers in Romania. There is a 7 hour time difference, which only adds to the problems.

I recall the guidelines in Sinclair's pretzel shops showing a photo of a video where the employee was clearly wearing a name tag and there was clearly a tray of pretzel samples...both of which the shopper had denied. Sinclair also mentioned that instead of taking a photograph of the purchased pretzel, shoppers were using photos from the internet.

I was stunned by this.

When one person pees in the lake, we all get to drink it. Sucks, but that's how it is.
Just as a follow-up. I received full payment for both shops. Either Goodwin is not very organized or something else happened that I was not made aware of.
It's not tremendously unusual for a MSC to pay in full for a shop even though they and/or the client consider the information inaccurate. Your first post noted that you believed you were now kicked out of shopping for the MSC. Are you still able to perform shops for them?
No, I am not able to access their website. The scheduler said she could ask her supervisor if I could be reinstated but I told her to not bother since I have only completed 2 shops in several years. They just rarely have anything in my area.

The email the scheduler sent to me about the "fraudulent" report said that I would not be paid.
Hopefully the msc will not report you to the MSPA and create problems with other msc.
I know that you can report the incident and the company to the Better Business Bureau located in the area of the MSC's corporate address, and demand payment. The MSC will likely respond to the BBB when they are made aware of the report and request for payment. In the MSCs response you will be able to get information. Or you might get paid for the work you did.
Getting paid is not an issue at this point. The OP said she received payment for the shop.
Was your shop at a big retailer? If so, I can guarantee you that the timing was not off due to their top knotch loss prevention departments at these stores who handles the cameras. They monitor the time throughout the day to make sure it is recording the appropriate time. I once purchased something from target that did not have a tag and ended up needing to return it moret han 30 days later. A loss prevention agent was able to confirm that the shirt did not have a tag on it at the time of purchase because they saw a sales associate grab an identical shirt in order to scan that tag.

I'm also surprised that the OP can be reported to the MSPA. I udnerstand chatter between schedulers, but wouldn't it be a violation of some sorts to officially report it? That would be like me letting go of an employee who showed up drunk and then deciding to take it upon myself to call any other employer at a second or third job and tell them that said employee showed up drunk. The employee could take legal action against me unless it is a job that requires me to report the incident to some state agency. I don't think that I've ever read an ICA that states that they will terminate me and report me to the MSPA if I am no longer allowed to shop for them.
