Is Cirrus Marketing faithful with their payments?

I've worked with them for three months now, but am still awaiting payments. I've heard that they may take as long as six months to pay.

Has anyone not received payments from them? Or do they just take a long time?

I've sent them an invoice via email for each month, asking for confirmation each time whether or not they had received my invoices. I received confirmation for the first month's invoice, but not for the second two months. I can't tell if they're even receiving my invoices for the second two months.

I'm pretty new to MS and cirrus was my 2nd shop. I then discovered this forum. Yes, they eventually paid (on time). I decided it was w-a-a-y too much work required for the pay.
I have found that if I send them a reminder and a copy of the invoice after 90 days - I usually get my payment within a few days after.
They're on my blacklist. There are too many companies that pay promptly and reliably for me to bother with Cirrus.
I did a shop for them in February and a few in March. But after reading this forum and the warnings from others, I have decided to wait until I receive payment until I do anymore shops for them. It's almost time for the first payment to show up, so I shall see...
Curious to know...they have at least four shops owed to me. Do they pay by Paypal?

Do not read so much, look about you and think of what you see there.

Good God. Did you read the ICA and the profile?

If you hit the end button, you can get to the bottom and click the "I Agree" button faster.

Nobody reads that lawyer stuff anyhow. eye rolling smiley

I saved them to a .PDF for each company and put them in a folder, in case they changed the terms and to have something to review when I don't have a payment on my spreadsheet.
Hi, I had to do the same thing with them. It took4 months before I received my payment so I decided not to do anymore work for them. It's too much of a hassle and they don't pay that well for the shops they want done.
The Supreme Court has ruled that they can hide stuff in the ICA's. On the other hand, so can you.

I have not had issues with them. They are, however, the slowest to pay. That said, that's stated in their information. I've forgotten right now if it's 60 or 90 days, but that is stated up front in their info and if you email them, they will tell you that. They pay pretty well in my opinion so I don't mind the wait.

I'm thinking: I don't work for them but it seems sad you have to "remind" them to pay you after 90 days. This is one company I will not sign up for tongue sticking out smiley
Just an update...I realized after I posted on 6/1/15 that my February shop payment was due at the end of May. So, I did what many others have reported and sent an email with a copy of the invoice asking about the payment. I received no response, but within a few days I received a paypal payment.
I'm still waiting on payments for 2 shops I did in November 2014 and December 2014. I even rated 10/10 on both shops. It's ridiculous how this company makes us fill out invoices for shops performed. I have done shops for many mystery shopping companies, and prior to doing shops for Cirrus, the longest to get paid was 60 days. I'm not sure I will be doing any more shops for Cirrus Marketing.

That is horrible! tongue sticking out smiley You are talking about 7-8 months ago and still waiting! I would not work for this company.
Yup, I made the mistake of not finding out their pay schedules until after I had already completed my second shop. I have gotten so many conflicting statements from them regarding their pay schedules. I could have sworn I saw on their website a 6-month pay schedule, but the scheduler I worked with sent me an email telling me it's a 2-month turn around. Either way, I'm still waiting.
Cirrus takes 3 months to pay, so that sucks. Also they are horrible at sending you your payment on their own, what i do is i write an email outlining payment schedule posted on their website, and email that to their payroll person twice. That usually works and i get paid within two days.

You know how when you sign up for an MSC you have the chance to read over their policies? One of my policies is that I will do research about an MSC before taking work for them and if more than a few others have had to chase payments, I won't do work for that particular MSC. Unless the payment was up front - and that's not going to happen. I'm grateful for this board as I have avoided a few MSC's with a bad payments reputation.

I've done 3 shops for them back in April...... still no payment. I e-mail them, fax them and even contact the scheduler. NOTHING
I'd like to update...I just got my payment for a shop I completed in May. I sent an invoice back in May, and after not getting paid within 90 days I sent my invoice again 2 weeks ago. Such a hassle, but at least I got paid.
I did shops in May and June knowing they are slow paying. I wasn't willing to invest any more time until I found out how slow. I finally got tired of waiting and emailed both the scheduler and the company. No response. I then just emailed the scheduler. She responded with an email stating she had nothing to do with payment, but she gave me all the reasons why I might not have gotten paid. No invoice submitted, etc. Well, I followed their directions and met every deadline. Then, lo and behold, I got paid for the jobs. So, there is merit in what others have said. After the 3-4 months of waiting, start emailing them. I did tell the scheduler I probably wouldn't be doing any more shops for them due to the lengthy wait for payment. I don't like having to chase down money I'm owed.
I don't mind waiting for a payment. But I do mind having to chase it down. I won't be working for this company. At all.

My thoughts exactly. I don't mind waiting, but I hate having to contact them for payment instead of just receiving the money when it's owed.
When I started mystery shopping, I did shops for them. They have a lot of shops in my area. The only problem is that they are slow to pay. I would always send them an invoice and then wait 90 days or longer to be paid. When I wasn't paid, I would have to call and resend invoices to remind them to pay me. 90 or more days is a long time to wait. I was always worried that they would go out of business. I would do all the shops I could get if they paid sooner.
I called them when they were laye with a payment. I was told that according to the ICA I would be paid after 90 days. 127 days was after 90 days so they were fine according to their interpretation of the ICA.

I was told they did not receive my invoice when I emailed it 3 times. The last time I verified it was received while on the phone with the company.

I no longer will work for them. Even with large bonuses the time and effort it takes to get paid are not worth it. There are hundreds of companies that pay faster without a hassle. I will takeva bit less pay to get my moneu in 6 to 10 days without hunting down company officials.

If you enjoy being put off and frustrated then keep working for them. Otherwise work for any other company and have the ICA really mean something.
